if they bring in a bum alot of ppl will scream and cry for refunds. even the cowardly brits would be upset.
i think we are living in our boxingscene bubble here. most people dont know the difference between these guys. ortiz is an undercard fighter for a reason.

if AJ knocks out Ortiz more impressive than Wilder... that'll get ppl talking.
Give Ortiz what Miller was gonna get Plus some type of Bonus .
It's a Better fight than the Big Baby fight and should draw more fans .
more bubble talk. more fans? miller is a hyped up american fighter from new york. ortiz is a cuban guy who fights on undercards. no way in hell more fans are drawn to that. it doesnt matter that ortiz is a better fighter. casuals dont know this.

If he KO's Michael Hunter... who gives a fckk
ths is more bubble talk. more people watched ggg ko monroe than wlder against ortiz. no one cared about monroe after just like no one cares about ortiz now and that why hes stuffed on undercards. if pbc thought ortiz's popularity rose in defeat the would have promoted him as such. they didnt do anything but stuff him on undercards cause they knew no one cared.
Ortiz is a bigger name than Miller, so if Miller was really getting 6.5, then Ortiz is going to want more than that. Then you have the fact that Ortiz would be taking the fight on short notice and coming in at a disadvantage. That's going to cost you too.
If Ortiz is asking 10 and they're offering 6.5, the middle would be 8.25. Which is a reasonable number since coming in on a short camp, for a fight of this magnitude, in and of itself is going to cost the A-side a million bucks.
All these cowards getting huge money but they want even more before thinking of fighting AJ. Haha.
Never has this happened before. The fear is so very real.
And the dumb people agreeing with this? You're complete jokes who are completely deluded. And you call yourselves boxing fans. Anything to stop AJ from making a legacy. Clowns. The lot of you.
]Ortiz is old, and taking a loss here would probably hurt his chances of getting the Wilder rematch or a fight with Fury. [/B] And in those fights, he would have the privilege of full training camps. Training camps for heavyweights can be up to 12 weeks, and he'll have less than 6 weeks for this one. You have to compensate him because this is a major risk to his health and career.
Considering that his fight with Wilder drew over 14,000 in NYC, he's the best available candidate for a big NYC-based fight. Plus, it was the most dramatic, action-packed fight of Wilder's career. If they sign this deal quickly and promote it properly going forward, it can be built into a bigger event than the original with Miller.
10 million seems fair considering the circumstances. But I would advise him to settle for 8 million.
I think Ortiz is just gonna retire with 5-7 million with a Joshua fight. It's an opportunity of a lifetime for him and his family also.
