They have that to spare. Also Ortiz would be one of Jushua’s best opponents to date. The question is whether Ortiz actually deserves that much or not. I think UK PPV #s and gate rev would cover that. And DAZN got money. But I think $10mill is probably a little high, he may be starting high and would settle for less.
Ortiz wants 10 million to fight Joshua, how much is actually realistic?

Right now Ortiz won't do 6.5 million anywhere else. They probably know that AJ is in a bind and at least want a semi-recognizable name in the US so they are going hight to negotiate a better deal.
Still if I was Ortiz I would jump on the fight opportunity that has been presented to himComment

Ortiz should stand his ground and double or nothing or this card is gonna be a wash and people will be getting their refunds and AJ definitely will look very bad since Hearns said AJ will be a star after this fight in America!
He’s at a disadvantage as well due to not having a full camp so it’s understandable he wants more and plus he’s known more than Miller is!
If Hearns wants to save this card he gives Ortiz what he wants or more, something like 12 million plus rematch for Ortiz!
I think that’s fair since Ortiz was never the number 1 option over Miller in the first place!Comment

Bolded: Agreed. It's simple as that. It HAS TO BE A LEGIT OPPONENT. And if Joshua beats a guy that gave Wilder some trouble easier than he did, he will gain a little bit more leverage over Wilder in my opinion.Comment

Here we go again, another fighter talking a good fight against Joshua only to actually get the chance and back out with more than 1 excuse. Short training camp and its not enough money. All these pages about Ortiz and nobody is talking about 4 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BELTS. 4 belts, 6.5 million and Ortiz dont even need to dig his passport out seeing as he is based in the US anyway.
Im ready im ready im ready im ready, oh ****, im not ready.Comment
