Well..."They Called Him" and they're the ones that is desperate for a quality replacement so yeah I don't blame Ortiz, squeeze them for the most you can get out of them. DAZN throwing all this money around so don't be "CHEAP" ($6+ Million aint cheap at all though) Now

Ortiz should get what Miller was offered at least
Is he worth it , no I really don’t think so
But I do believe he’ll make for a better showing than Miller
Most likely a better show all around

miller was getting 4 million to 6 mllion the conflicting info says. ortiz would get nowhere near that. save the event? he has no leverage. with 17k tickets sold he could bring in any bum at ths point who would fight for much less. 10 million lmao thats nuts if true

Taking a fight of this magnitude on short notice should entitle him to a generous purse. But, this is a fight that should be promoted as its own event, not as a late substitute.

there are 16 potential opponents in the running according to hearn(probably lying for leverage purposes). he's going to leverage that to find the guy who will fight for the least amount or at least put pressure on the better guys to lower their price. same thing he did with whyte and miller before this fight was signed cept now there are possibly up to 16 people hes playing.

No he can't bring in any old bum. If you know how The Brits travel there wasn't a question if the ticket sales would do good.

DAZN needs subscriptions. There's no way DAZN won't vet or have a say in his opponent if they're paying him whatever insane amount they are. He's not Mayweather or PAcquiao that can fight Guerrero or Algieri and still do respectable numbers if you believe the number about the people they had watching the Povetkin fight(Like 25k or so).

Correct 6.5. Ortiz is reaching but he is probably trying to settle for same amount.

even though your posted zero links to back this up Ortiz deserves more than Miller for the short notice risk.

Michael Hunter? who the fook ??

                  Ortiz or bust.

casual fans dont know the difference between ortiz and tomas adamek. they might have remembered their names or even seen them fight but they arent going to go on boxrec and be like oh this dudes a bum im not buying. that is why they are casuals. if they didnt do good numbers with povetkin they probaly arent doing good number with ortiz either. hes not a fighter people care about. thats why he always fights on undercards cept for the wilder fght. they should try to get ortiz but its not the difference between a million views and 25k views.
