Ortiz never asked for 10 million.

Apparently Haymon prevents the fight from happening.

... and what would be Haymon's interest to help in making such fight?

Change the life of his fighter, get his fighter the fight of a lifetime to become a unified heavyweight world champion?

Have the chance to get all 4 world Heavyweight champion belts under his own stable?

Give boxing fans a fight that they ask for?

Show the boxing media and the fans that he is not a shady criminal violating the Ali act?

      I could list many more.

... these reasons are rather emotional... the guy has a business that he wants to protect -- he can't just feed his biggest competitor (DAZN) with fighters...

Any top fighter that takes this fight on short notice is doing it for the money and doesn't care about winning the title. They would be a fool.

... OK... there also may exist the possibility that Ortiz would wish to leave Haymon and try to take AJ's money... (but we don't know what are the provisions of the contract Ortiz has signed with PBC, tbh)...

Then he shouldn't be allowed to call himself an "advisor". Advisors are supposed to work in their fighters' interests, not in the interests of television networks or promotional companies

Didn't even know he's a PBC fighter until he started becoming a regular undercard to PBC fights fighting bums after another.
He also started behaving like one.
Call out the big names and skip the ones in the middle.
Just like Charlo pretending to want Canelo, GGG, then fight bums.

Stevenson ran away and hid under Haymon's skirt.
But at least Adonis never called out big names.
He's happy being fed with whatever Haymon fed him.
These guys like Wilder, etc., are the worst kind.
They initially beg for big fights.
But when offered the fight they suddenly want retirement money.

Biggest cancer in the sport, you know who he is.

as long as he "owns" a television boxing series in "Premier Boxing Champions" he isn't just an "advisor"... I guess...

Ortiz is a killer. No way does AJ step in the ring with him.
