Now sign up Luis Ortiz, perfect timing for a 40 year old, give him a 6 week camp and that should lower the risk of fighting him.

Unless Whyte steps up which he won't cuz he wants a longer camp and more money then there is literally only Kubrat Pulev or Kownacki as viable opponents.

I'm bummed about this, was interested in seeing some questions answered about Big Baby (how good is his chin, can he survive to the later rounds and make it a war of attrition).

Ortiz would seem logical with all things being equal but Hear intimated that Ortiz camp didn't think 5+ weeks would be enough for their fighter. If what Hearn says is true, I don't blame him. While a big opportunity, he may feel like he needs a full camp.

Kownacki would be interesting and check some boxes as well. American and New Yorker with a nice record but sounds like he took his name out of the running. Pulev is also unavailable.

Whyte and Chisora are less than ideal for numerous reasons. Nobody wants to see Parker again and his name isn't big enough.

That leaves us Charr and Hunter. My guess is Hunter gets it. American, same promotion, solid record. Anyone else I'm missing?

Hearn has said he's paying the opponent the same 6.5 Mill he was paying Miller.

But don't let that get in your way.

No chance of anything getting in my way. In fact...your point about offering the same 6.5 is likely the reason no one is stepping up. They know he is stuck...and anyone in that position can be forced to up the ransom money...unless it's a no name replacement which will ultimately ruin AJ's coming out party. This decision has a long term impact on how Hearn AJ and DAZN are portrayed. They need to show they don't panic under pressure and come up with a spectacular replacement.

Also, if Miller did in fact use that PED, I wonder how many times he used it before. For a man his size he always has a heck of a motor and it sounds like the substance aided in endurance. It's pretty pathetic that he was making PED attacks on AJ and probably using at the same exact time.
