Since he is currently ranked by the WBC I would say yes. VADA testing is mandatory for all top 15 WBC ranked contenders.

Ortiz would be my first pick, but not being able to speak English might rule him out. Even Canelo doesn't sell well to English speaking Americans.

Both of them suck. That's why he won't challenge the most dangerous American out there which is Luis Ortiz; Who is both fundamentally sound with a great amateur pedigree.

No, Ortiz has had enough mainstream exposure in America. Besides there a lot of Spanish speaking people; Many of Cuban decent who resides in NYC.

Anyone other than Ortiz will be a disappointment. Unless they can renegotiate with Whyte?

Every Cuban boxer has the same problem in the US, people arn't interested in them. Lara and Rigo can't draw flies to a picnic and and neither can Ortiz. He went down like a lead balloon in the UK too.

Which is very true because most Cuban Americans reside in the state of Florida. I know that Don King does a lot of local cards in the state of Florida but as whole boxing isn't very popular there and therefore does not have many boxing venues in the state.
