Whyte is deluded, and the fans here in the UK love him for whatever reason.

For what purpose, Wilder has the belt he wants.

Ortiz would be a great match to watch no doubt, but I'm sure everyone in his position wouldn't risk a title shot for a fight with Ortiz that has no upside. If he wins, everyone will say Wilder damaged him, if he loses he needs to start from scratch. Wilder may be more dangerous, but the rewards are huge. Even if he loses, but puts up a decent fight he'll still gain rep from the fight.

It's all about being clever, and he's legitimately jumped through the WBCs hoops to earn the shot.

whytes resume is much better than ortizs or breazeles so earning it has nothing to do with it. its all politics. pbc wanted to steer wilder away from whyte and they used their political power to do it and set wilder up for a fight against breazele who is also pbc. remember wilder-stirverne 2? stirverne had one fight in 3 years against a journeyman and some thought he lost. title shot for him!

You'd think being ranked No.1 by the WBC would put him the front of the queue for the first eliminator that comes up. Also he has in writing that Breazeale v Molina wasn't the final eliminator. It's not hard to understand why this guys irked.

Also Browne and Helenius ain't great but they're sure as **** better than Molina coming of a split decision in a six rounder with a guy who has 35 losses and Molina had 2 losses out of his 3 fights before that (AJ & Wilder).

Deontay Wilder is the WBC's new Adonis Stevenson, just without the boxing skills.

The WBC needs to enforce their rules and cancel the Wilder-Breazeale fight to give Whyte his long overdue mandated shot, or strip Wilder of the belt for failing to face the #1 contender for 4 straight years. One or the other.

But we all know whats going to happen. Both AJ and Wilder will squeeze one more easy payday out of the situation, then they will fight each other twice just in time for Wilder to swerve his #1 contender, Whyte, who has the power to knock him out, and for AJ to swerve his #1 contender, Usyk, who has the boxing skills to outclass him.

No the way the "boxing establishment" is going to risk the AJ-Wilder moneygrab on the chance Wilder gets KO'd by Whyte, or AJ gets outboxed by Usyk. This the same playbook they've been using for years. I'll be shocked if either of those fights happen before AJ-Wilder.

If I'm right though, it just makes even more sense than ever for Whyte and Usyk to fight in the fall. Whoever wins that should be mandatory to both the WBC and the WBO, not that it will matter if the winner of AJ-Wilder has both of them. But if the corrupt boxing establishment is still going to keep bending the rules to protect overhyped vulnerable cash cows from losing, then Usyk and Whyte should just fight in the meantime.

Who said he has it in writing? Whyte or Hearn?

And I’d say Browne and Helinus are right on the same level as Molina.

most had Chisora winning the first fight, and if the ref didn’t miss the headbutt the scorecards work out to a draw. He should have immediately rematched Parker but instead everyone’s calling it some career defining win.
