100%. I ain't mad at it. Gamboa is still a name that'll ***y up Tank's resume. Tank is still so young time is greatly on his side to reaching his max potential & max money in this game. And while there are numerous fights I'd rather see Tank in I get it from the enhancing the Tank product angle to all this. That said I do hope they make a bigger legit fight for Tank this year. Dude needs a real mfer challenge to focus on to help prevent him from going sideways in some sorta dumb ass reason outta the ring that f#cks up the blueprint more than a L in the ring will.

I can't believe you're comparing a legend like Chavez to ****ing Gamboa lmao. And Oscar was already a 4 division champion when he fought Camacho, Davis hasn't accomplished anything close to that.

Gamboa is one of the worst cases of wasted talent in recent years.

So you have a rule and everybody else doesn't. No it doesn't make it right that Davis is fighting Gamboa. I am personally against this cherry pick fight. Yuri is well past his best and has seen his better years but so was Chavez and Camacho when Oscar challenged them.

So what's all the fuss about this matchup then? Why is everyone up in arms about a very green Gervonta Davis fighting a very savvy, cagey and seasoned vet in Yuriorkis Gamboa?

                Gamboa is washed up

Last time I seen him guys like Sosa and Castellanos were whooping on him, but atleast Gamboa is not a featherweight

Because this fight is a total waste of time.

OK that's fair, just don't defend the guy comparing him to Delahoya, only because some boxing legend cherry pick some older boxing legend in the past doesn't make young, untested guy like Davis free to cherry pick himself. Gamboa didn't fight in junior lightweight in 7 years! Who's to say he can even make that weight at this point? (I'm not sure if Davis can).
