GGG has ,37 years old but a very soft career with only two good names in his resume.

Márquez destroyed Pacquiao at 39 years old with a way better career than GGG.

Hopkins fought against Kovalev at his 42 years.

GGG ducked Ward, never fought in another división

      His is a tu diva
Shut your fatass up, lard boy. It's hilarious when some internet keyboard fat**** bashes a fighter repetitively when they have never even met them. Like, how pathetic is your life to sit behind a computer screen and continuously try to badmouth some dude you have never met in real life? Even worse, the fact that no action of said person ever will affect you. LOL.

Not every fighter is going to be able to fight past 35 at a decent level.

Marquez was roided up (so was Pacquiao)--- what's your point?

Hopkins was a freak anomaly--- but he also got his ass completely dominated every round by Kovalev. What's your point?

And LOL @ claiming a fighter ducked another one in a bigger division.

Golovkin has done well for this career in America, which started when he was about 30 years old up until this point. Not his fault he had a very late start.

How old was Marvin Hagler, Sugar Ray Leonard (1st and 2nd), Lennox Lewis, and so forth--- when they retired? How many fighters fought past 35 and looked like shells/obviously should have quit before they kept fighting?

Who the **** is Steve Rolls?

N'Dam I didn't mind so much to shake off the rust, cos I was and am a N'Dam fan and the dude ain't a walk in the park even though I'd expect even 37 y/o GGG to win handily. Damn fight shoulda happened back in 2012 or '13 though when it was originally supposed to.

Honestly though I'm not particularly keen on GGG taking tune-ups at this stage with what 3 or fights left in him at the top level. Seems a bit pointless, but I can't really say I blame the dude.

its a boxing forum/board...that's what we do...we discuss fighters and their career...and their skil level...when I say career that entails everything...opponents, results, business decisions etc

yes we realize just about every pro fighter we talk about here has actually accomplished more than us...that's basically a given...feeling the need to point that out looks desperate

you golovkin excuse makers can continue claiming that you cant duck someone in a different division....but when your trainer constantly said that would be your best weight...when your promoter said you would gladly do a one off in that division.....when you ran your mouth saying you were looking for opponents from "154-168"....when you put your name on a contract to fight chavez in that division....when you tried to fight froch in that division......but tucked your tail, to fight dom wade and a welterweight, when the featherfisted division kingpin came calling? then its a duck

you can justify it any way you want...real men know what it was...if golovkin had just kept his mouth shut and stopped complaining he couldn't get opponents and real fights? if he hadn't ran his mouth about 168? then ok...it would be fine....but he did those things...and tucked tail to fight a WW and dom "D level" wade.....its a duck

and here you are throwing around "fat" insults....im sure there are a few fat guys here...but generally boxing fans, at least those that care to post on forums about it, generally keep themselves in decent shape....

          have a good one loser

that's just how a career is moved, you are wasting your time watching boxing if you don't understand that yet.
You are wasting your time defending Pvssy G.

A true catchweight is fighting for a title at a weight below the maximum for that weight class. That being said...the only good thing about him fighting either guy is that it is a chance to watch GGG get a knockout.
Wow, that's asinine. We watch for the skill level & the competition.
