golovkin is 10 years older than canelo [who fought at 168 lbs, and against a bum.] making weight when you're that old is not easy! it means you have to spend a lot more time in the gym, which at 37 and after 350 amateur fights and 40 pro fights with golovkin's style is not something you waste on a tune up.

you're not considering [or replying to] the fact that golokvin had been entirely promoted on US soil by HBO and that there was a period in time when he was in promotional limbo. without a big TV US deal he'd be fighting a bum in kazakhstan on their TV and you'd really be complaining about it. or fighting in the UK for eddie hearn. really. they don'y just get to fight who and when buford tannen on bscene says they should.

canelo won the fight and got offered the big contract. golovkin was still a big earner, but he was literally shopped around from network to network and eventually they went with dazn. after the dust settled a good amount of time had passed.

he's taking a tune up and of course you've got a problem with it.
Yea the #1 or 2 mw shouldn’t be fighting the rolls guy. A forum full of hardcore boxing fans never even heard of that guy

Even worse, the fact that no action of said person ever will affect you. LOL.

Not every fighter is going to be able to fight past 35 at a decent level.

Marquez was roided up (so was Pacquiao)--- what's your point?

Hopkins was a freak anomaly--- but he also got his ass completely dominated every round by Kovalev. What's your point?

And LOL @ claiming a fighter ducked another one in a bigger division.

Golovkin has done well for this career in America, which started when he was about 30 years old up until this point. Not his fault he had a very late start.

How old was Marvin Hagler, Sugar Ray Leonard (1st and 2nd), Lennox Lewis, and so forth--- when they retired? How many fighters fought past 35 and looked like shells/obviously should have quit before they kept fighting?
          Márquez was on roids hahahahaha

          Poor hater

Márquez was way better than GGG
