thats right on his boxrec... last 6 fights where all over 160 lbs with the last two being just above 167 lbs
I knew that wasn't gonna work entirely imo the $20 sounds about right for a "ppv" fight........you have to buy services equal to 10X the old monthly rate to see those savings. people who would otherwise buy one month would need to buy for an entire year.
dazn was going to do a lot of business selling one off subs. they've now increased those prices by 50%. "10 bucks to see canelo fight" was dishonest.
kinda silly tho that they have the commercials of killing ppv's but if you wanna watch one fight on DAZN you have to ....
well.... pay for the view (ppv)
only thing is its hella, hella cheap compared to $75 and up.
But I feel yo on what you saying.Comment

Forced to fight Jacobs? Nah.
If he didn't want that fight all he had to do was insist on the champions split.
Rematch mighta been deserved but the Canelo fight had been penciled in for Sept '17 for over a year and after the Draw the WBC mandated the rematch. Then the Vanes nonsense and now Jacobs got his own sweepstakes. Hard to see when this rematch would have happened. Maybe next year huh?

Forced to fight him because of the mandatory. This is when they were still selling the all the belts angle. After that fight the all the belts angle went out the window. Since then we've seen him pass on the BJS unification & the mandatory against Dervy, choosing to fight Vanes instead.Forced to fight Jacobs? Nah.

Ah. C'mon man, dude fights his mandatory and you try to sell it like he only fought him cos he had to? Telling me that ain't an angle?Forced to fight him because of the mandatory. That said I've not been in favour of the way he's let other fights go - the two you mentioned in particular - chasing the Canelo payday. Understandable of course, given the money involved, but still not the route I'd have prefered him to take.Comment

This is embarrassing. How does GGG have fans anymore every lie he ever told you has been exposed. Mr 154 or 168? Ducked Ward at 168 and ducked Canelo below 160... Mexican Style? Ran from Mexican Style fight that he begged for...I'm just a fighter not a businessman?...Got stripped of his belt by ducking his mandatory last year over a business decision...Catchweights disrespect boxing?...but demanded one for Ward and is now trying to fight a bum at 164 LMAO
There is no reason he shouldn't be fighting Andrade who has a belt, also looking for a June fight and is also on DAZN. The bytch's true colors have been exposed.Last edited by bigdunny1; 04-09-2019, 05:10 PM.Comment

i don't think golovkin beat canelo in the second fight, i think he got his ass kicked. i thought the first fight was very close. adalaide byrd had caneo ahead by eight points and that fueled the fire in the minds of a lot of people that the fight was fixed and golovkin was robbed.
golovkin is 10 years older than canelo [who fought at 168 lbs, and against a bum.] making weight when you're that old is not easy! it means you have to spend a lot more time in the gym, which at 37 and after 350 amateur fights and 40 pro fights with golovkin's style is not something you waste on a tune up.
you're not considering [or replying to] the fact that golokvin had been entirely promoted on US soil by HBO and that there was a period in time when he was in promotional limbo. without a big TV US deal he'd be fighting a bum in kazakhstan on their TV and you'd really be complaining about it. or fighting in the UK for eddie hearn. really. they don'y just get to fight who and when buford tannen on bscene says they should.
canelo won the fight and got offered the big contract. golovkin was still a big earner, but he was literally shopped around from network to network and eventually they went with dazn. after the dust settled a good amount of time had passed.
he's taking a tune up and of course you've got a problem with it.Comment
