It's not nice to see this happening to any boxer, but if you believe in Karma, it's hard to say he didn't deserve it for taping dogs mouths together while his dog tore them apart.

So years of suffering is justified just because he killed some dogs?
He dont deserve this..Comment

The selfish human being in us thinks our life is worth more than a dog, but really they're living a life, like us. In that respect, i'd happily see a man suffer for years for killing innocent animals in such a vile way, absolutely.
Of course i'd rather it never happened to him, but i don't have much sympathy for him at all either.Comment

sad sad story, The G man was one of my favorites, he had it all, power, speed and even chin, he took murderous punches from the hardest punching middleweight ever and kept on fighting and knocked him out twice. He paid a very expensive price though and it's really sad to see.
stuff like that make think hard about continuing to follow boxing but I never stopped. It's a brutal brutal sport.Comment

He should've showed that class while in the ring instead of repeatedly hitting Gerald behind the head.shows the class from benn.
RJJ took many years to even visit Mcclellan, he was cautious the effect it would have on him as a fighter and a friend. Imagine actually the one in the ring with him that night and talking all those years later. hard to wrap ur head aroundComment

It's not hard to separate distain for the man (and it's deserved) from an understanding that this is tragic.
I'll never forget that fight and the Eubank/Watson fight.
It's a dangerous business but both were failed by the refs and their corners.
GM with his gumshield hanging out, blinking and complaining to his corner. Watson being dragged forward in the 12th with no idea where he was.Comment
