Sooooo how much would AJ get paid in the Wilder fight?
Anyone know that? Would he get a flat rate? Would he get a percentage from amount of viewers? It’d be cool to know what AJ would make to weigh against Wilders. If AJs purse is tied to sales, and not just a flat rate, then why can’t they say why that is? IF it was 100 extra large for Wilder on a single fight contract, it’d only get upset if AJ ended up with more than 180 mill.
And cut the reward in the process along with ensuring that Wilder wouldn't be rewarded in the rematch even if he had a spectacular performance in the 1st fight.
They would've also put Joshua in a position where he is guaranteed more than Wilder because Wilder's 40 mil is the starting point for AJ negotiations.
SHO out here offering 50mil guarantees for the fight so what's the advantage of short changing himself?
How many ppv buys do you think it would do? 1m? 1.5m?
I think the 40million he was guaranteed for the first fight would be better for him than a ppv cut.
Joshua should be getting more. He's the A-side, to use that ubiquitous boxing term. I'm sure Joshua was probably guaranteed 60mil with the first fight being in the U.S.
With regard to the second fight I'm sure john skipper was open to a counter proposal from Finkel and haymon. Say 50-50 or 60-40 to wilder of he won the first fight. But they didn't even negotiate. It's like they went into the meeting with their decision already made.
As for the showtime offer. Joshua is locked into sky tv. Finkel and warren were in talks to put it on sky's rival BT ppv. I'm sure a legal wrangle would have ensued.
Eddie Hearn wanted the first fight in UK. Now he's prepared to have the first fight in US.
I have no skin in the game.
But if my fighter is offered 100million for 3 fights I would at least come back for a second meeting, no?
[QUOTE=BLASTER1;19623297]Between AJ and Wilder who fought better competition last year?

A resume is built on a whole career not 1 year.
3 min??????????????What are he ll you talking about??????It was about 5-7 secs and he had already a min and was fine. Also they do that in most fights now.The fact you are trying to get people to believe your insane post just shows your biased and WORTHLESS opinion.Dont bother writing back have NO INTEREST in talking to an idiot so far out of reality. And more biased BS he was 39 go back to AM career and it clear to ANYONE who wants to see it(that's not you)and it was same Ortiz that everyone ducked including your hero AJ who had his promoter sign him only to NEVER fight him it was just to keep him away. Now back to fantasy land for you son.
There's a reason Deontay didn't sign to fight Joshua for $100 million...
And you DeontayCUCKS were saying "Anthony won't take $50 Mill"...
Between AJ and Wilder who fought better competition last year?
Oh that's right it was Wilder.
Hmm that's debatable.
Deontay Wilder:
Luis Ortiz - he's 39 years old and hasn't had a significant win in his entire career...actually Ortiz's best accomplishment was beating Wilder until he got KO'd
Tyson Fury - Another strange guy. Close win over an old Klitschko, but a win nonetheless.
Oh, and Fury won that fight. But even if your dicksucking ass did somehow score a Draw...that's 1-0-1 in 2018
Anthony Joshua:
Joseph Parker - Essentially an equivalent win to Ortiz, but AJ wasn't almost KTFO
Alexaner Povetkin - The equivalent of Tyson Fury...and AJ won...KO.
AJ has never been almost KTFO except when he stepped up and fought "the guy" at HW. And won definitively...not some narrow or split decision
Oh right, you're too deep on Erralda and Deontay nuts to make sense of anything

AJ doesn't matter in the US and his UK fans don't matter for DAZN because they don't have access to the app. He is not the A side for a dazn fight unless dazn is getting all the UK ppv money he generates. If not, Wilder is the A side because he actually has fans in the US.
To your 2nd point, how do you know what Jon Skipper was open to if they would not even say what they had planned to pay AJ? And if they planned to give AJ 60mil and you are SURE about it, it seems like that should have been stated. It seems like he had a take it or leave it deal if they were not willing to share info.
Hell, we don't know how much of that deal was guaranteed or was a result of incentives.
And the 50mil didn't involve Warren or BT Sports. Why would anyone talk to Warren in that case when AJ is with Hearn. How do y'all explain him getting involved at all?
After someone starts to move grimey and the people who have done right by you make an effort to continue to do so, I see no point in switching sides.
At around 1:40 or so fury hit wilder with a flush right hand left hook that shook wilder...that is what I saw.
Well it seems like you looked at it again and still feel same way and you have my respect for that. Instead of coming back with BS insults like most on here you were open to look again so all I can say is we will just have to agree to disagree on that which is fine.Have a great weekend even though big fight is a complete misnatch the Gvozdyk v Dogpoop fight I think we can agree on that.

#BoratLogic
Dude that don't mean sh ite there were both gonna fight another fight 1st who cares where it will be???????2nd Wilder has signed NO MUTI fight deal and any such deal will have "outs" and why would they say that if avoiding AJ because it takes away biggest excuse"no fight unless on Show"just like what you and Hearn are saying. But ill let you in on a not so secret thing AJ is NOT signed to DAZN and can fight ANYWHERE.So if more money in a SGHOW/FOX PPV then that's where it should be.Spence v Garcia did almost 400k that's a lot better then it should have done since neither has done PPV and neither is a BIG star.It should have been closer to the 160 Ward v Kov 11 did but because of FOX putting out 8-10 pre fight shows and advertising on BIG basketball shows and also showing all this on FOX sat afternoons this fight could very well be worth more then 40 mil and DA MN sure rematch of a sure GREAT fight with a even more sure KO would be worth more then 40 mil.

I don't think wilder is the A side. He's been making 2-3million per fight on cable tv before the fury fight and he's 40 fights into his career.
The fury fight did 325000 busy roughly in a half full staples centre.
Joshua is selling out the garden and is making 30 million dollars for fighting miller who nobody knows.
On you're second point you are right. I don't know the ins and outs of the deal. I'm presuming Joshua was getting a 60/40 split in his favour as that's the split that Hearn and Joshua are pushing for. It seems to me that Finkel and Haymon care more about destroying Hearn than looking after their fighter. If there's no incentives and hidden terms its an insane deal for a fighter who was making peanuts before dazn came along. Can't believe they turned it down.
Warren has gone on record saying the 50 million involved him. Him and finkel wanted to put it on BT ppv in UK. I know aj is with Hearn but the offer was for Finkel and haymon to take charge of the whole promotion and work with Warren, who has an exclusive deal with BT, to put it on BT ppv.
