ive been to a wilder fight...at the barclays against ortiz...the crowd was packed and lively....

DAZNs offer reflects what they feel the fight will do stateside....at least minimum....and thats why they wouldnt tell wilders side what AJ was getting...because he was probably getting more plus potential upside

DAZNs offer tells you all you need to now...theyve done their market reasearch...they arent hoping...theyve done research and found out that wilder is worth 40 million to them in this fight

too many of you idiots dont know how to seperate fighters...wilder vs fury or wilder vs brezeale isnt wilder vs AJ...the same way AJ vs miller or AJ v. povetkin is NOT aj vs wilder

its like ggg and canelo...based on gggs previous ppvs he wasnt worth much either...but put him in with canelo and hes worth more.....take canelo vs liam smith and khan and hes not doing great numbers...now you put canelo and ggg in together and you have an event

too many of you are too friggin dumb or just plain wilfully ignoring this...its not the same when you seperate these two as when you put them together
You clearly don’t understand their model. Yes there will be people that pay for one month. But they’re overpaying for fights to entice people to look at everything and hopefully say the $99 is worth it to see AJ/Wilder, 2 Canelo fights, GGG, and other guys.
They’re not paying that amount because either guy is worth that on their own. If they were they wouldn’t have to discount tickets and AJ’s last fight wouldn’t have tanked.
This isn’t Mayweather/Pacquiao or Canelo/GGG. Here you have two guys that aren’t well known and that most feel is a big mismatch.
And AJ’s getting upside in what? This fight will only happen on DAZN, no upside on that.
That’s great that it was a good crowd, but that doesn’t equal a high paying crowd. My friend got tickets that were originally listed at $350 for $55 the week of the fight.

How many fights is it going to take Wilder to make $100 million?

The Breazeale fight isn't even on PPV so you can't expect too big of a purse for that one.

you are acting like the plan is to not fight AJ...they will...finkel said even last week "its too big not to happen"....they just arent willing to turn 100 percent control of the fight to DAZN and not have american ppv money flow through it....its pretty simple to see thats their stance/angle here

what you dont realize is that two guys may not be worth certain things on their own...but together they are

canelo wasnt worth it against liam smith and khan...but put ggg in there and you have a show....ggg isnt worth alot when you put him in with lemiuex and jacobs...but you put him in with canelo you have a show

and there is def upside in the DAZN model..the fact that you cant see that shows what im trying to argue with....if the subscription, for a single month, jumps to a certain number during the month of a fight AJ might be seeing upside money....and thats why they wont tell wilder the terms of the deal for AJ for their fights alone.....because they dont want to divulge and just want wilder to sign his name

most feel the fight is a big mismatch? hahaha ok...thats why aj only opens as a small favorite every time they put a line out on it.....AJ is not massive favorite...its not a mismatch because we know wilder packs a mean one and AJs had his chin touched and isnt nearly has hard to hit as fury...its a tossup fight

you put this fight in vegas and it does over 16 mil at the gate easy....canelo/chavez did 16 mil at the gate...which was the same as what klit/AJ did with 80k seats sold...

again..youre one of those guys who only looks at each guy as their own seperate entity....sometimes the combination of the two en****** is much stronger than each one standing alone indvidually....

wilder wont sign because hes not giving them 100 percent control of this fight and not letting there be american ppv money flowing through it...too much money to leave on the table in that instance....wilders people arent ****** ...theyre much smarter than anyone around AJ

You’re right buddy. People can’t wait for AJ/Wilder, 2 guys the majority of sports fans couldn’t pick out of a lineup. Whatever makes you feel better.

fans cant pick them out of a lineup yet DAZN is willing to offer the even more unknown wilder a mere 40 mil to fight AJ!

                no, no, YOURE RIGHT pal!!

                LOL

Joshua isn't going to fight off DAZN. And DAZN isn't doing PPVs. So how is Wilder going to fight him exactly?

You also didn't answer my question. How many fights is it going to take Wilder to earn $100 million?

you need to tell me who hes fighting before i can tell you how long it would take

you act as if i can just give you an answer without knowing who the opponents are...line me up his next 6-8 fights and ill give you an answer....

the aj/wilder fight will happen...i cant tell you when....but it will...like finkel said "its too big not to"...

you do realize that AJ works with DAZN on a fight by fight basis right?!?! im guessing you are unaware of that since you said "isnt fighting off DAZN"......theres too much money in it not to happen....but its just plain silly to have the american ppv out of it.....

DAZN has invested in AJ....but so did showtime and then he bolted...kinda strange that AJ bolted for DAZN just around the time there was sort of a little buzz building on a potential AJ/wilder fight in the future.....

DAZN was just trying to lock this fight in now...and get 100 percent control of it....it was def worth a shot on their part...they know its big too.....but wilders people have a different idea im guessing...and they are pretty smart guys who have done some big fights

Thats makes sense... Its just 100mill knowing what he was and is making now. Regardless i hope Wilder aint being manipulated by his own team.
