First time facing someone with a good jab that knows how to throw power shots off it and he looks like a deer in headlights from round one to twelve. This is supposed to be a top five guy too. Give me a ****ing break.

Marquez lost every round versus Mayweather, 120-107, including a legit 10-8 round (not subjective like in Mikey vs Spence).

Was JMM exposed because the fight was not competitive?

Well we all saw what he went on to do 3 years later at the same weight class, to the Fighter of the Decade.

Mikey Garcia unintentionally opened doors for himself in lower weight classes. He will have more offers now.

I think people really underrated Spence's boxing ability

Ok.....it just seems kind of contradictory to me.

I knew it would be exactly like it went minus a stoppage.

Look it up. Spence is like 1/2" shorter than Roy Jones with the same reach. It's ridiculous how much of an advantage he has over other WW's.

Nobody expected this to be competitive and it wasn't just the boxing ability. He's like half a foot taller and has a huge reach advantage.

No, Spence was the favorite by a wide margin and he won the fight by a large margin. The fight didnt tell us anything we didnt know about Garcia, we KNEW he wasnt particularly fast or had a lot of power, we KNEW he wouldnt be very competitive at 147. Smaller guys moving up through multiple divisions like that need speed or power or both. He also has a small frame and reach for 147.

I thought he would be stopped but he fought to survive and covered up well.

So not exposed but from a marketing/career/money perspective, yes his brand is hurt. Its been shown as fact that he cant compete against the top at 147, the casuals, the bulk of the PPV buyers, now know what boxing nerds already knew. So his options for his next fights and his drawing power and negotiating advantages have been hurt.

And from those wins, two of them are against fighters much smaller than them. Does Crawford have a top P4P win? How about Lomachenko against someone his size?
Crawford doesn’t have any but he’s also been lineal twice and undisputed at 140. Can’t say that about mikey

That's fine, who did he beat in the process of being lineal at 140? The response was to that Mikey hasn't beaten any top P4P fighter.
