I never expected him to win but to not put up any sort of fight or have a single moment over 12 rounds says alot about both guys. Spence throughly out boxed him from the opening bell until the final bell.

I expected Mikey to win a few early rounds or at least be competitive.

Mikey have have been a bit overrated and obviously Spence is the real deal.

Okay, but how many fighters have top P4P wins? And from the top guys which ones? Canelo over GGG? Lomachenko over Rigo? Spence over Garcia? SSR over Chocolatito? And from those wins, two of them are against fighters much smaller than them. Does Crawford have a top P4P win? How about Lomachenko against someone his size?

No, he was just too small, he had no power at 140 so 147 was going to be nonexistent; people forget that Mikey began his career at Featherweight - 126.

The guy was a little too c o c k y, he could of fought and unified vs. Lomachenko at 135 and mix it up with Regis Prograis and Josh Taylor at 140, which was Mikey's weight limit.

I know and it's such a silly logic. Hell, on this site you don't even have to lose to get exposed-- you can win a fight and still get exposed lololol

Maybe it was Spence who was exposed. I mean in 12 rounds not only didn't he stop the much smaller man he never even had him in serious trouble.

Imho I think he was exposed.

Spence consistently moved around and kept on resetting Mikey forcing him into angles he was uncomfortable with.

People say Mikeys only good at fighting people who stand right in front of him and that looked pretty damn true vs Spence. Idk if he got tired or what but as the rounds went on, he struggled pretty bad fighting on the back foot and struggled to set his offense by moving forward. Anything that looked like head movement became completely non existent.

To me, it just showcased why he will ultimately lose to lomachnenko. Loma may not be a big puncher, but has enough pop to make you respect his punches. If he fights Lomachenko I expect it to be completely lopsided. Not to mention I doubt hes gonna be hit by those slow ass punches.

Listen to Robert and Mikey after the fight. They say they want Lomachenko, BUT, Mikey also wants to be a 147 champ, in the future, and Robert wants Mikey to go to 140.

I personally said after moving up no way in hell Mikey is going back to 135. After the beating and humiliation he experienced I HIGHLY doubt hes gonna want to work with Arum now.

I thought Mikey would win a few rounds and be more competitive but he was utterly dominated. But even then the disadvantages he had to face - height, reach, size, power, strength - make it impossible to draw fair conclusions. "size was not a factor" is probably the second dumbest boxing logic after "you gotta take it from the champ!". I admit that Mikey could have done better, but he wasn't exposed.

Mikey's chin and toughness had been questioned in the past because he had been matched very carefully, had been hurt a couple times and after the Salido fight. At least this fight answered some questions. I give him credit for going the distance. It must have been mentally hard for someone as good as him to get dominated and hit almost at will like that and feeling impotent. He probably got hit more in this fight than in all of his previous ones combined.

He was exposed. He somehow managed to turn a no lose fight career wise into a loss. He lost every damn round, usually the small guy has some early success but he couldn't even manage that.

He lost to the best welterweight, period. I think Mikey can do his thing with other top welterweights except Crawford and Pacquiao.
