You're nuts. Ward and his team in an interview claimed they weren't aware that the Lemieux Golovkin fight was signed. That is why Sanchez called Ward a liar. Get your facts straight before calling other people out.. As far as Golovkin goes I gave full credit to Canelo for putting up a great fight. I also criticized Golovkin for not body punching in his first fight. I also criticized him for chasing Canelo at the expense of his reputation.

Lord in heaven, this is pathetic and sad. GGG's over dependence on Alvarez to make his career, to make him money, is beyond obsession. I always said GGG ******** on Alvarez only is going to ruin his career and legacy. If he fights and loses to Alvarez again and by the end of his career he has no top wins against other top opponents to even out the ledger then he will not be a 1st ballot hall of famer nor will he be mentioned in the pantheon of great middleweights.

No the fact is Ward tried entice Gennady up to 168 to gain an advantage over him. He's the guy who called out Golovkin and then refused to negotiate on weight. I'm not a fan of catch weight fights for titles but it seems to be the way things are done in the modern era. You seem to conveniently forget that Ward initiated this.

If Ward was serious then he proved to be a lousy negotiator because the fight fell through. On the other hand Golovkin was successful in getting Canelo into the ring. So from a negotiating standpoint Golovkin 1 Ward 0.
