Are there any posters on here willing to admit they had Wilder wrong?

WILDER WAS ALWAYS FIGHTING BREZEALE NEXT.....i know its tough for you guys to get through your thick, brainless, skulls

hes not letting DAZN have a piece of him with no risk...hes not letting DAZN dictate terms

wilder was fighting brezeale next...and aj was fighting miller next....NOTHING HAS CHANGED

when both of them are done wilder will go to them and demand 50-50 of the fight...and AJ can decide if he wants to duck again or not

NOTHING HAS CHANGED...but some of you are so desperate to paint wilder as a ducker after round after round of duck moves by hearn that you are reaching so sadly and desperately
Let’s say he gets offered $40m for Joshua or $80m for two Joshua fights after the Brezeale fight and he ducks again to fight, say Ortiz again for a similar purse to he’s getting for Breazeale would you be willing to suggest he’s holding the fight up?

Wilder himself said “they are begging to fight me”, “I won’t be rushed into fighting Joshua” so even he doesn’t think he’s being ducked. $100m is fantastic money for a fight that you were going to fight plus a Joshua fight.

Are you happy Wilder turned down a deal which guaranteed him two shots at Joshua, the first in America and with it being on the same timescale it would be if he somehow agreed to it in September or October? Would that have been nice to have that guaranteed already? He obviously has the last say and as of now he is the reason they fight is not happening.

It’s sure going to be look really bad if he hasn’t agreed to it by years end. It’s also bad for him because his athleticism is one of his only two good qualities and at 34 that will decrease more than his skills would increase. IMO he’s being milked and cashed out which is what I’ve felt about him for the last 3-4 years.

You're right, he's fighting Breazeale regardless. So the offer was to fight Joshua afterwards. With a two way rematch which is standard.
So after he fights Breazeale, let DAZN and Showtime make their offers to Wilder and Joshua and we'll see who makes the better offer. Why should Wilder fight Joshua on DAZN for 40 if Showtime is willing to pay each of them more than DAZN is willing to pay?

The fight easily does 1.5 million PPV buys at $85, with $60 of each buy going into the pot. So $90 million from PPV alone, plus UK PPV, plus live gate, foreign rights, sponsorships, etc. The fight has the potential to bring in $150 million or more.

And why should DAZN get the fight if Showtime will pay more? Let Wilder and Joshua win their next fights and then do the fight on whatever service pays the most.
Why are you lying? There were two options:
        • 2 fight deal only for joshua and joshua rematch at 40 mil a piece even if he was stopped in the first second
        • 3 fight deal that included the breazeale fight in which he would get handsomely paid - at least 4x what he would get paid on SHO

He rejected both. And remember, Wilder asked for a 2-way rematch in the first place.

whats that based on? his last fight did 300k. maybe eventually it does do that much but he had a guarantee that covers whether or not hte fight does good. now joshuas popularity has to explode and wilder has to continue winning and up his popularity just to get anywhere near the money he was offered.

How big all of these delays are making the fight.

DAZN isn't the only one willing to guarantee money. Showtime is willing to as well.

Joshua already has a fight scheduled, so Wilder has to take care of his mandatory regardless. Even if he's intrigued by the two fight deal, it'd be canceled if he loses to Breazeale regardless. If he thinks he'll be worth more if he beats Breazeale, good for him. Nothing stops a Joshua fight after that.

What the **** are you talking about?!

Wilder is not a PPV star. That's why he is fighting on regular Showtime after Fury sold his last fight for him which only did 300k buys max.

Why are you pulling fantasy numbers out of thin air?!

And you know what? On what planet does Wilder even deserve 40% of that pot? His value is gonna go down because of this move to regular Showtime. He will barely deserve 30%.

TBH I was so disappointed last go around and I put that solely on Hearn and Joshua. This time I’m going to be more rational and not get emotional. When it happens it happens. I just don’t care as much as I did before.
