If Wilder would have signed with DAZN, a fight with Joshua would have been far easier to make - since Hearn is contractually tied to DAZN.
When would they have fought? Would it be next or next year? Also how much was the offer compared to what showtime is offering? Need more details before making a judgement.Comment

I don't understand all this arguing. After Tuesday's announcement either side on the argument can go off.
No use arguing about non-facts and promoters running their mouths.Comment

I understand people want to see this fight but it's too much bs going on and it's not going to happen anytime soon lol
AJ or Wilder will lose and at that point no one is going to care as much anymore lolComment

So 100 mil for three fights isn’t fair? They also offered 60:40 which is more than fair considering fury and wilder split what aj made alone against povetkin. But yeah. All aj’s faultComment

It is fecking is safe to assume it's guarantees never heard DAZN mention anything otherwise about other fight purses and in regards to the Canelo deal he's getting every penny described in the deal so yes guaranteed 365 mil plus opportunity for extra if DAZN reach specific subscriber bench marks.Comment

There have been various reports from various sources (some Ldbc some not) and alot of speculation from media(old school & YouTube), fans, fellow fighters and promoters. First it was 50mil then $100mil. Some say it includes Joshua some say it doesn't.The LDBC will tell you its not part of the deal it was. They have actually sent contracts over to sign you can't get out of that.
Think about it 100 million and no Joshua fight that's 33million a fight for fighting tomato cans that would actually be better for Wilder 100 million in free cash.
DAZN / Hearn need viewers for that they need big fights, DAZN just made Canelo vs Jacobs why wouldn't they want Joshua vs Wilder.
100% two AJ fights , the LDBC made up about 3 excuses all of them beyond logic.
He didn't want the fight and the money Haymon said jump he jumped end of.
I'm interested to hear what Is said at the Tuesday press conference. Also want to hear directly from John skipper himself on any details of the proposed deal that he's willing to divulge.
Either way, Dazn deal aside, everything that's happened and been said up to this point on both sides leads me to believe Aj doesn't want to fight Wilder. That's an opinion shared by many including current and past fighters with much more credibility in the boxing world than myself.
I'm pretty convinced at this point the fight will never happen. All this back and forth between the fans is what's used to distract us while they continue to get rich off of us. This has been happening for yrs. In boxing And will continue.Comment

It’s not as different as you would like to pretend. It’s for the breazle fight, which is a fight he needs to take anyway, an aj fight and the rematch. It’s a 3 fight deal it’s not like it’s a five year exclusive dealTwo different concepts that you're trying to draw a parallel to in order to facilitate an argument rather than a discussion. Wilder has a network/broadcast deal (multiple opponents) being offered to him now, whereas Joshua had a fight deal being offered to him. Its apples and oranges.
Fact of the matter is, both Wilder and Joshua have to agree to SEPARATE deals with DAZN in order for the fight to be made. That is not a reason for Wilder to turn the deal down, nor is it a particular deterrent. It is a factor in the decision making nonetheless.
In fact. I’m sure frank warren has said aj turned down 80 million because there was the option of a rematch too so it was a multiple fight deal. Not unlike what dazn is offering wilder. Enjoy spinning this oneLast edited by Fabes88; 03-18-2019, 08:50 AM.Comment
