if we're being realistic and fair as far as value goes, 40 mil is way more than a fair offer for a fight with AJ right now.
However, it's just like what many Deontay Wilder fans such as myself has said. Team Wilder doesn't want to be locked into flat-fee for a two fight double rematch clause deal.

Wilder's guarantee should be at least $50mil of $120mil split of the purse for their first bout. Hearn promised Wilder 50 percent of the purse split if he wins the first fight in America and a 30 percent split of the purse if he so happens to lose the first fight in America.

So if Wilder wins the first bout then Joshua and himself should share at least 50 percent of the purse split at $60mil each. However, if he loses then give Wilder the 30 percent of the purse split as Eddie Hearn has suggested; Which means he gets $40Mil while AJ gets $80mil.

        I think that's a fair deal.

This is bs. It was a 3 fight deal. Breazeale in May/June then Joshua-Wilder in November/December this year.

The reason Hearn and the pvssy get away with stuff like this, is because they have loyal fanboys who believe anything they say.

The problem was, Hearn wanted to see a contract, and was worried about who was fronting the money and whether AJ would have to wear pink shorts - clearly smokescreens- without accepting the 50 million dollar offer first.

It's nothing to say, "we accept your 50 million dollar offer, now let's see a contract."

How this is even a discussion anymore is mind-boggling. AJ and Hearn didn't want to give up the A-side, and didn't want to fight in America . They didn't want the fight then, and don't want it now.
The problem was Hearn wanted to see a contract?????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????? What a diva that Hearn is wanting to see a contract.

But Finkel refused to let them see a contract. Hearn asked for it, Hearn needed it if the making of this fight was to progress, its the norm, you get the contract next. But Hearn didnt use the magic words, he said "please send us a contract" instead of we accept the offer please send us a contract.

If those difference in words were what stopped Finkel sending a contract that that is straight up ****ing pathetic. It was a big deal, a big offer and the fight we all want but Finkel didnt get the EXACT wording at a time when any wording should of done so the fight never progressed from there.

Dont you have any idea how ****** that sounds to everybody that has not got a hard on for Deontay wilder. Ofcourse you dont you are one of them. However it doesnt sound half as ****** as turning down 100 million to take the 3 fights Wilder said he wanted more than any others.

That's why I don't understand why the other clowns in the division like Whyte, Breazeale, Povetkin, Martin, etc., are not rushing to fight Luis Ortiz.
Beating Luis Ortiz would entitle them with these huge offers like Wilder is now having.

are we gonna get to see the terms and specifics? of course not....its what hearn does best..he goes out there and tells everyone about all this money but you wont get to hear all the details and if wilder comes out and says "yeah but they wanted this and wanted me to do this and that" hearn will just "thats a lie...pssshhh we never asked that"
Lol. Change the words 100 million dollar deal with 50 and Hearn with Finkel and you could literally be saying the same thing aj fans say about that offer. So why is this argument good enough now?
