Yes.. and either way, there is one thing I respect about Jose... he will not duck a guy. If he is treated fairly he will FIGHT.

I think that Margarito would be more cautious if he fought Rivera for the fact that Rivera is strong & is a good counter puncher. I saw that in the Terra fight where he countered very effectively. Rivera is stronger & technically better on offense & defense. He'd wear Margaito out in a shoot-out & I'd pay to see that fight.

Spinks was the 1st to beat Mayorga when he was on his winning streak after beating Forest twice and was still a feared man. He then beat Judah (then lost a rematch...I know) and now Karmazin. He deserves a big money fight against a big name, he's earnt it. Also, Spinks should be a household name but is far from it.

when you run in fights like jackie-joyner, have no KO power, cry after wins (like a total baby) and make judah look like a world beater, you're far from being a superstar and even further from fighting the likes of an ODLH and mayweather.

also, his looks and ring entrances just turn him off to the casual fan, what the ****, was he involved in a mortar attack?

he should be praying that rivera take a fight with him, rivera's ONE good win away from busting out from obscurity and into the big time.

must be a GREAT effin' feeling having a guy like that under your tutelage, ice, eh?

Spinks' greatest wins are all highly questionable. Judah (and he lost the rematch in devastating fashion) and Karmazin (I scored it a draw). Other then these two wins he has a split with Piccirillo (average fighter). Rivera wins by KO.

                    ALL OF YOU ARE INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!

Come on now. Rivera is a solid fighter but he wouldnt win 1 round against Spinks. It would be a one side outclassing type fight.

You guys think everyone will give Spinks trouble just because Zab and Karmazin did. Zab is also a lefty, is faster then Spinks, and has more power so he can netuarlize all of Spinks strengths. Karmazin was 2 inches taller, seemingly has the arm length of a 7 footer, has quick hands, is a good thinker, very powerful, and it was Spinks 1st fight at 154.

Hardly no other fighter out there presents Spinks with those problems. This guy would kill Rivera and I also think he would fairly easy beat Margarito.

I dont think alot of you know how hard it is to beat a great boxer like Spinks who is a lefty, has quick hands, and just knows all the nuances of the game. I dont think anyone beats him at 154 besides Floyd & Winky. He would kill Rivera, easily beat Margarito, and he would definatly beat Vargas, Mosley, or Oscar.

The only other guys that can beat him are Forrest or Quartey but you have to see what they have left 1st. I would love to see him fight any of those guys because they wont have any kind of chance of beating him and most of them know it

DLT I think you are relying on what Spinks did against Mayorga too much. Mayorga is a tough fighter, but superior boxers have always been his kryptonite. Rivera is not that type of fighter. In fact, I think Rivera is more like Karmazin in that they don't have 1 punch KO power... more like accumulation of punches. Also if you saw the Karmazin fight then you know Spinks' jaw is suspect at best. The only solid punch Karmazin landed almost dropped him.
