picirillo? and Judah ko him the **** out, and he ran agienst karmazin. Cory spinks can't dominate or win decissively worth **** he is always on the verge of getting skull ****ed. He has good skills but is just weak as ****. He is not even a marketable name out side or maybe even in st louis let alone a superstar. He is always one punch away from defeat and tries to be somthing he is not. He has world class boxing skills but is not remotly a world class fight. He has nothing but his boxing skills, He has no power no stamina no chin no ability to fight on the inside does not go to the body. He has solid defense. Sorry but spinks is not a good fighter, hes and A level boxer but a c level fighter.

How do you think style wise this is going to work for Rivera. Spinks is not going to come forward against him and is going to try and box like never before. How do you aproch this fight. Can Rivera cut off the ring enough to trap Spinks. Can he keep Spinks from finding a confortable working range. Can your man time spinks to land first. How are you as his trainer going to combat these elements.

Nice pick I would like that fight as well. Alcine seems the better athlete but not as skilled as Spinks. I would have Spinks by close UD like by 3 rounds. In actually a good fight maybe mix it up a bit in a fight that Spinks would show some grit.

Rivera is not that type of fighter. In fact, I think Rivera is more like Karmazin in that they don't have 1 punch KO power... more like accumulation of punches. Also if you saw the Karmazin fight then you know Spinks' jaw is suspect at best. The only solid punch Karmazin landed almost dropped him.
I still disagree with all of you.

All of you keep trying to compare Rivera to Karmazin but he wont give Spinks those same problems because he isnt 2 inches taller then Spinks, he doesnt have those long arms, and he has also moved up in weight. He also is not as patient and as much of a thinker as Karmazin. Rivera would get eaisly outboxed

rivera wears down spinks in the later rounds and gets the stoppage.
the only reason spinks' people don't want to entertain the idea of this match up is because of the risk/reward factor. even though rivera is the WBA champ, the money isnt there like it would be against a DLH, but DLH isnt going to fight Spinks, it would be a boring fight, plus Spinks aint done nothing to entice DLH to a match up there is no money in Corey Spinks. Spinks is trying to cash in on other peoples name.

a fight with Mayweather isnt going to happen, Mayweather isnt going to fight a guy like spinks, 1: no money 2: bad match up their fighting styles would make it a posing match 3: spinks lost to judah as mentioned before and was ko'd, a match up between mayweather (judah conqueror) and the guy that judah ko'd in his last win (spinks), get out of town with that bull mess. maybe if spinks makes himself a force to reckoned with, but other than that, the only fight for Spinks would be to fight Rivera. if he could beat Rivera (which i doubt) then he might have some leverage in making certain fights happen. other than that he should take what he can get and get his head out of lala land..........

              Rivera by 10th round stoppage................

absolutely...Jose Antonio Rivera is a BLUE COLLAR guy all the way. You can tell by how he handles himself outside the ring...at least thats my impression. I kinda agree with the one guy who says that most fighters at 154 will avoid him like the plague...he works the body and cuts off the ring, he's got a solid chin, works off the jab, and solid defense..and now he has a belt...he's too risky....for most of these guys who are too big a puss to bring it and lay what they got on the line...I know Rivera will...who's gonna man up......
