Okay if he is overrated. What does that say about Canelo? GGG arguably won the first fight among most viewers and the second was a deemed a majority decision by the judges ringside for Canelo.

I like GGG, but also think Canelo is a special fighter.. So I really don't have a dog in this fight.

It says that Canelo has travelled from 139-168 his whole career. Golovkin never went to 168. HBO could’ve easily facilitated a 168 title bout for GGG without Ward in the narrative. GGg would’ve still gotten paid like any other bout at 160. The reasons why HBO didn’t push GGG to 168 was because they wanted exposure at 160. GGG is an underachiever. The fact that GGG’s entire legacy revolves around Canelo Alvarez is ******ed. GGG is a *****. Should’ve gone to DAZN. He’s going to get sparked out by Canelo. That Mexican ain’t playing in the 3rd meet.

Seriously man. GGG is a flop.
Of course they aren't GGG fans and neither are you. I think he does well even at his very old age of almost 37 at either middleweight or 168. I don't think he is a flop at all. He beat everybody who dared to fight him and many of the best did not dare to fight him. Now that he is so old and perhaps past prime and we have braver middleweights lots of guys challenge him but he can't fight them all at once and if he doesn't then the haters say he is ducking this guy or that guy just like they used to say about Mayweather. GGG has fought the two other best middleweights in the world 3 times already and counting. Other than Canelo what middleweight has done likewise?

Neither did Hagler and Monzon .

You’re not a GGG fan either. You just come off trying to be reasonable that no harsh criticism can be imposed on GGG. You need to man up. Daring to be great means you fight tougher opposition.

Canelo and Jacobs have said many times throughout their careers who they’d like to fight or need to fight. Canelo risked his 0 with Floyd at a catch where he had trouble making 154 prior with Cintron, Mosley and Lopez. We most likely can agree that Canelo needed a diuretic on the banned list to make the Smith fight, which Warren and Team agreed.

Gennady never went to 168. I don’t give Spence a pass for not going to 154. I don’t give Loma a pass for not going to 140. Always excuses from fans making excuses. I don’t give a fook if Bivol is bigger and dangerous for Canelo, I expect Canelo to see his ass when the time comes.

But as usual, go make excuses for GGG. I can’t wait till Canelo sparks GGG out. Future fans will be in awe of the Trilogy and see how Canelo was always the better boxer in some great close fights.

Still no one has beat him convincingly and the guy is 37 now. And he arguably faced the p4p #1 guy twice as well. He is not overrated. You just don't like the guy

Monzon was the 70s, Hagler ended his caree when divisions changed.

That’s the worst cop out. Did Toney, BHop or RJJ stay at 160 because those you mentioned did? Stop it man.

Convincingly? GGG got tagged by an elite level fighter because of accuracy. Not random lucky shots that phone Booth brawlers rely on. Close fights and convincingly? That’s like saying GGG didn’t convincingly beat Canelo. “Mexican style doe.”

I don't even know what you are talking about bro. Both Canelo fights, an overwhelming majority of media scorers had Golovkin winning. That's a fact. No one has beaten this guy yet without alot of people disagreeing. That's what I mean with convincingly

Cash Cow Canelo took his 0 and his whole legacy.
You can’t say GGG without mentioning Canelo and that’s how it always will be.
