This thread is such an example of the tribalism that dominates casual boxing fans these days. Fans of promoters and fans of networks rather than fans of boxers. The ones that stand out the most are the fans of Hearn....who is linked to dazn. Those same fans tend to be driven by a mix of nationalism and racial loyalty just as fans of haymon and delahoya. But those Hearn fans point fingers at the PBC fans, who are curiously getting most of their fight fix for free. Honestly it’s like watching kids have a go in a sand box. What’s also intersting is that those same Hearn fans don’t have access to dazn themselves, they just want Hearn to dominate in the USA and then act offended if americans of a specifically racial and ethnic group don’t go along with the “we are the empire and you will bow down” propaganda.

espn is gonna pay fury to fight some C level scrub on espn+...lol

Whoa!! You gathered some steam there kiddo.
Wilder has been protected, and has only fought Ortiz (who he nearly lost to) and Fury (who he did lose to).
My point is that I dont care to refute your obvious love of Haymon but I do take exception to anyone suggesting Wilder has fought the best. He's a grade A ducking machine and will get destroyed when he gets in with Whyte or Joshua. That's an opinion I will place money on - with you if you want.

Fair enough. He pretty much at the stage where he HAS TO step up anyway. He will take the big cash out fight against AJ and he has a puncher's chance in it too.
I'll be honest mate, I've been avidly following boxing since around the time of Calzaghe Jones, and was following it not so avidly prior to that.
I boxed for a few years in my teens and I know what it's like. But for all that, i have to admit I'm f%#@ing lostb when guys start talking about promoters and tv deals and whose role is whose in all that.
I wanna see fights. I don't lose interest in a guy if he has an 0 on his record. I like attacking fighters versus Ward / Fury types.
              I guess that's it.

im with you...i wanna see fights...unfortunately theres a reality that all sport is big business now...and it plays a major role in how things unfold

and boxing is especially crazy because its not a unified league with a ruling body or commissioner....its a friggin free-for-all

and out of my whole comment that was all you could pick out. for shame.
No you don't have a duty to make your client as much money as possible. If that were the case Hearn was malfeasance when he made Joshua turn down $50 mil.

I posted a with Hearn saying he understood why Arum wouldn't let Lomachenko fight Crolla on DAZN. Tank has a promotional contract with Mayweather promotions. But Hearn can't understand why Mayweather wouldn't want Tank fighting on a platform with less subscribers than Tank got in ratings his past fight. What's the difference?

What do the ratings have to do with anything.
Joshua, Canelo, GGG and other top fighters signed with DAZN instead of Showtime or ESPN.

Are all these fighters badly managed or are they going where the most money is, which is, if they are acting out of self-interest, the most reasonable thing to do.
Fifty million was offered to Joshua & Hearn made him turn it down. So your money excuse rings hollow.

The owner/s of Dazn must have a huge amount of money to blow. It's hard to see how they make a profit. There will never be another Mayweather-Pacquaio type huge money spinner.
