Idk why people think this guy is operating off handshakes lol
of course he has contracts. What people don’t understand is that Haymon is desperate to keep wilder away from DAZN and espn and Charlo, Kownacki etc.

Haymon doesn’t want to strengthen his competition. He wants to keep them on pbc so he can recruit more guys to pbc. That’s how he can bring more guys over. That’s why he matched top ranks offer of 12.5 mil for wilder before DAZN blew that offer away.

Make no mistake. Haymon wants all his guys on his networks where he wants to renew the deals and deliver ratings and ppv revenue and be in control of everything

        Finkel and Epinoza yes .

I believe the deal is for either 3 if it includes Brezeake and/or a two way rematch for a Joshua fight.

Problem is if its on DAZN Finkel won't be able to rip Joshua off so he won't be advising Deontay to take it (see the NYC court case). That and the fact he hates Wilder stepping up remember the I'm protecting my baby heavyweight at 30 fights speech, what he meant was his cash cow.

At 30 fights Joshua , Whyte and Fury will be thinking of retiring. How can you be a novice with a belt at 30 fights its ridiculous.
No, I was referring to the article where it is rumored that Deontay Wilder will receive a 2 fight deal worth just $50mil from DAZN. If it's true, then man that ain't shit!

This means one of two things; DAZN is not picking up the Wilder vs Breazeale fight by sending it back to Showtime and just going to focus on the two fight double rematch clause deal between Joshua and Wilder or they are offering Wilder both the Breazeale and Joshua fight with just one rematch clause deal for Anthony Joshua just in case he loses.

I maybe wrong because I don't know all the facts now. However, if it is true. Then, I say deal breaker and Wilder should just move the fuck on.

I get all of that but what you fail to realize that Eddie Hearn is not the be all and end all of DAZN. There are other promoters outside of Matchroom Sport who are working on that platform as well.

Moreover, Matchroom Sport has an exclusive contract with SkySports too or haven't you forgotten that fact as well. DAZN is not Al Haymon's competitor; However, Matchroom Sport, Top Rank Boxing and Golden Boy Promotions are and none of those rivals or competitors have stolen any of Haymon's talent from the PBC and never will.

DAZN is Fox's and Showtime's competitor since they are the platforms who are launching and dispensing the sport of boxing.

As he's handled business so far; way out the offer against what he has to offer his fighter, and move with the deal that gives the best opportunity with the best money.

Adam Kownacki is a fast-rising fighter, but he's comfortably 12-14 months and maybe 3 fights away from his own shot at Wilder (and a similar time for the other three mandated shots); if the offer is for 4 fights and $10m guaranteed (or whatever the number is) and Haymon better exposure but for not even half the money, the move is obvious. If the money is comparable to what Kownacki is already getting, a move would be dumb.

Jacobs moved because he was fronted Golovkin on the first fight of the original deal, and he signed the new deal because he was getting Canelo for his first fight and only owes two more fights before heading back into the market for a new deal. If DAZN wants to pay another premium in 12 months to keep Jacobs around, the camp will see what is the offer.

Wilder is unlikely to move anywhere (especially if the Breazeale PPV makes money) because he's not dumb; owning his own show is worth it's weight in gold heading into this PPV part of his career.

And Charlo is in an alright spot too; situated well enough to not have to jump at anyone just waving money in his face.

The offers are the offers, and folks will keep trying, but folks seem to forget that Haymon is currently sitting on $120m per year for his US TV rights, 10 FOX dates, 12 Showtime dates, a 4-6 PPV dates per year at his disposal (plus whatever he's getting to sell his biggest shows to ITV in the UK, or whatever other markets he has long-term deals in).

If Top Rank has $30m a year to work with, I'd be shocked; and folks with options still have apprehension about trying to build anything where 50k people might tune in to watch even Canelo.

Hes a manager/advisor, first and foremost; if DAZN or ESPN are going to pay Kownacki $4m a fight, for 4 fights (and Haymon can see that he can get Kownacki $4m over 3 wins, with a Wilder shot after that) giving up freedom will be considered for the right length deal.

It it's close, staying with the home team makes sense, but if someone else has a world's better offer Haymon doesn't kneecap his own guy.

None of the the guys you've mentioned outside of Collazo and Khan were PBC fighters. They were never promoted by Al Haymon because Al is not a promoter. He is a career advisor. Many were only advised by him and to this day are still advised by Al Haymon.

Espn has more than double that to top rank lol. Lol. Keith Idec even posted they jacked up the budget to build up the app.
