Comments Thread For: Adam Kownacki Draws Interest, Offers From DAZN, ESPN, PBC

Multiple sources have informed BoxingScene.com that undefeated Polish heavyweight contender Adam Kownacki is considering offers from Bob Arum, Al Haymon and Eddie Hearn to fight on the platforms with which those three power brokers have content agreements. Kownacki's past two fights, victories over Charles Martin and Gerald Washington, were part of Haymon's "Premier Boxing Champions" cards and broadcast by Showtime and FOX, respectively.

Al Haymon is getting raided. I don't think he predicted the fall of HBO was going to coincide with an influx of money in this sport. Now Top Rank/ESPN and DAZN have no problem losing a bunch of money. How will Al counter this? All his guys are free agents.

He will counter it by guiding them to the best deal lol he’s still getting paid regardless. He has guys fighting on multiple platforms. He can’t have them all on network

Someone better snap this guy up. He is a big fan favorite in the Polish community and sells seats well. He's a decent fighter.

He should wait and see what Wilder does.

Then they should snatch him up for DAZN as a potential opponent for Deontay Wilder. If DAZN is only offering Wilder a two fight $50mil deal then that means either one of two things.

He's going straight to the Joshua fights next in that proposed two fight double rematch clause deal or they are preserving those two bouts until next year in 2020. Personally, I believe it's the former; $15mil for the Breazeale bout and $35mil for the Anthony Joshua undisputed heavyweight championship fight.

He has deals with FOX and Showtime. Not ESPN or DAZN. He wants his top stars on FOXand Showtime, not fighting for rival promoters.

I have concerns with all these TV deals lately, they will no doubt prevent the best fighting the best...they all gonna be fighting bums to protect their interest.
