Mansour would have been a respectable opponent 2 or 3 years ago, but not any more. Time has overtaken him. The way he folded without putting up any real resistance against Filip Hrgović proved that.

Charles Martin LMAO. Where the f%$#ck did he come from and where did he go?
It's like he won the belt in a cereal box and had a fight and ****ed off into oblivion.

If I was God I'd have Charles Martin rising like a Phoenix and beating every last one of these nigggas.

Why is this cat never mentioned? Is he on a private yacht somewhere snorting coke off of some Kardashian bellybutton?

I remember this guy in the Olympics. He lost embarrassingly to a guy Joe Joyce beat with ease. and who Joshua also beat with ease in 2012.

        I remain unconvinced.

Yeah, likewise. He hits hard but he's too slow and stiff.

He looks great to me. Everything he throws is fast, hard and text book perfect. I really like his potential. He is very big but not slow or awkward and carries no extra weight. Some real powerhouse heavyweights come from Nigeria.

Wrong. Kownacki easily beat him by UD.

                  Very impressed with this guy!

It does not matter who he fought to me. I just watched this kids professional fights. Wow!!!

the kid has really good technique and gets his weight behind his punches beautifully. He also has no telegraph, a great assortment and the ability to combo at the right range. Fast hands! But good speed with his weight behind (you can hear it in the punches).

He has learned to really use his fighting line nicely and shows great lateral movement. He distances very well off this fighting line using that jab as a pole axe and occasionally as a range finder. Fighters with good reach are imo much more effective if they learn to move straight initially to gauge distances...then? one can transfer weight, attack, pick an angle, etc...But why give up the territory in front when you have the reach? What I like is that this kid is cagey the way he steps back and fourth to set up against the opponent. I have seen him on occasion use this step back to counter punch, to get at the correct distance, and to set up a combo... I would like to see him use it more when defending (he peek a boos up with the arms) by putting his weight back so he can get time to react instead of just close up and wait til his opponent stops punching.

I would also like to see more head movement and try to get him to use angles off his line a bit more fluidly, but he has nice swift feet and a great sense of distance...including the ability not to rush it when he is setting up traps off his fighting line.

Punches well to the body, excellent counter puncher! good uppercut! All thrown with body behind them.

beautiful straight punches! straight as an arrow and very accurate! We may have a real bona fide puncher with power and accuracy. I think this kid could do something big. Time will tell.

Its not about the opponent yet, its about him developing the tools to fight at the elite level, something I see in spades with this kid! He has the toolbox together! I am psyched!

I feel like when we are looking at the second to third tier and evaluating talent, there is a schism: When we see Joshua, Fury and Wilder at this point, no matter what their abilities, lack of ability is, they have learned the ability to perform in the ring and overcome mental adversity. However when we are looking at the next level down, we may see guys who do one thing really well, or who are very good at times, not so good at times, etc... we may see guys exposed.

To me the ability to perform at that level, taking your best and being able to show it, along with the ability to not let your opponent expose a weakness that becomes a blueprint of how to defeat you, and finding a way to win is part of how good one will become. These young guys should be fighting every month, developing and getting better technically and the last thing they should worry about is taking a Loss.

So when I see Efe Ajagba I see a guy who is very impressive technically with great physical gifts. But we have to see how he holds up under adversity. Can he match mental acumen with his technical ability? But I do think he has shown a grasp of technical skills, particularly punching that is phenomenal at this point.
