Just like he tried to keep eileider alvarez, Beterbiev, and Luis Collazo at PC and not have them go to pbc espn or Khan to Matchroom.

Haymon doesn’t have any control at DAZN or espn. Hearn controls jacobs and Vargas.

DiBella went around Haymon to set up the meeting with DAZN.

Haymon is only worried about getting ratings on fox and showtime to keep renewing the contracts. Losing wilder to DAZN would be a huge blow to pbc.

Just to prove how ignorant your statement was, Haymon made a huge offer to get Jacobs back to pbc but when the canelo fight became available Jacobs signed a multi fight deal with DAZN. He desperately wanted Jacobs back to help keep Charlo away from DAZN
Does he has a choice? Right now he is in the middle of a bidding war with DAZN and ESPN for the services of Deontay Wilder.

One has offered him a five fight fight deal plus a $12.5 mil deal for his next fight. While the other has offered him a $15mil deal for his next fight plus a two fight rematch clause deal with Anthony Joshua starting at a 60/40 percentage split in favor of AJ in America and a 50/50 percentage split in the U.K in favor of Wilder if he wins.

Remember that Haymon had platforms on both CBS and Fox when he started his new platform on ITV in the U.K. also. So Fox doesn't care that much about Wilder bolting; Just so long as Al Haymon fulfill his contractual obligations to them as promised in keeping up with the dates and times slots of the deal.

The only platform that may be hit the hardest by this is Showtime because Wilder was a Showtime's World championship boxing exclusive. So his presence will be sorely missed but Al still has enough fighters in order to fulfill that contract too.

Now whether or not Showtime decides to renew his contract due to Wilder's departure may be a different story altogether. However with Haymons' vast stable of fighters it won't be hard for him to find new platforms.

Lastly, Haymon would have been a damn fool to allow Wilder to go to DAZN alone with no compensation. He is a shrewd and savvy businessman and he is going to try to capitalize on this deal as much as possible.

You are right he didn't want too see Wilder leave but at the same time. It's a package deal. If DAZN wants Deontay Wilder's services then they must willing to negotiate with Al Haymon also for a deal of his own for the PBC.

Also, the names you've mentioned earlier may not all fight under the PBC banner but yet they are all still Al Haymon advised fighters. Khan, Collazo, Beterbiev, Alvarez, Jacobs and Vargas all have legal binding agreements with Haymon as he gets a cut of all their purses.

In closing, as far as Lou Dibella going over Haymon's head to broker this deal with DAZN is bullshit. Dibella just so happens to work for Al Haymon. He is one of his figure head promoters with a license. It was both of their ideas to meet with John Skipper because if not Lou Dibella ass would have got fired for undermining his boss.

It's really all about the money for this guy.
He hasn't done much, yet his greed is limitless.
I'd rather talk about unifications, leaving a legacy and all that,
      if I were him,
but this guy is about leaving a network and joining another.

I’m all about loyalty and a man should always be loyal so having said that it’s only right you at least pay Espinosa ‘s DAZN subscription for at least 3 months to say Thank you.... Haymon 6 months because he is a brother

Wilder needs to cash in, it's time.

WTF does he have to lose with a two fight deal?

Get paid out the wazooo for a BS mandatory, then do the AJ fight in the states for at least $30 million, AT LEAST.

I understand PBC/showtime like to ride together, but Wilder, for the good of his career, his children, and his wife, needs to take a deal with DAZN, it makes no sense to not go after AJ right now.

lol on diBella. He used to be Pbcs main promoters but those days are long gone. Wilder likes him to promote his fights. TGB is the main Haymon promoter. Mayweather is the number promoter. DiBella is working less and less with Haymon. That’s why he is signing his just with DAZN and espn. U obviously aren’t paying attention

Haymon has zero say on Jacobs vargas Collazo khan alvarez etc careers. They all have managers and promoters. He just collects his small percentage.

If wilder signed with DAZN it’s the same thing. Wilder already had another adviser and manager too. That’s why he begged wilder not to go even though the best thing fit wilder to do is go to DAZN. Haymon can’t get him the big paydays and career defining fights at pbc.

You are very wrong in saying Haymon justwanted to make sure he gets compensated fotrhim to go to DAZN. He already was going to get compensated because ges his adviser. Wilder can’t get around they. Was a ****** statement by u.

The reason why he begged wilder not to go is power and control. Wilder is a major chess piece.

And your wrong about khan and Beterbiev too. Khans contract with Haymon has already been expired and Beterbiev took Haymon to court and haymon finally released him before getting exposed in court.

Haymon has 2 belts at 175 then top rank swooped up Beterbiev and alvarez and Kovalev and now controls the division.

He doesn’t want wilder to go to DAZN who would control heavyweight besides fury. That’s what Haymon cares about.

Fox doesnt want these guys got to DAZN. They want them on fox. They don’t want to see Josesito Lopez and Ugas in main events. And they also also want to do ppvs like spence and Garcia. Haymon promised these fighters and that’s how he got the deal he has. That’s why he’s desperate to keep control over these fighters. He wants to renew these deals in a couple years.

Every fighter that goes to DAZN makes DAZN more powerful and golden boy and Matchroom have the best stars in the world and run DAZN. Every guy that goes to topnrank makes top rank more powerful. All while weakening pbc. Hopefully u can comprehend that.

Stop bringing up ITV. There in the uk. That’s a foreign market. Fox and showtime don’t care who Haymon sells his fights to in the uk lololol. They sure care about his guys fighting on DAZN in the United States doe.

I get your point my bro and I respect it. If they don't want him to leave, Sho should match their offers. At this level, it is called prizefighting and 1 fight can end a boxer's career.Boxers should be able to maximize their income every time they enter that boxing circle. They are fighting for themselves and family first. If anything happens, fans and network wont hesitate to move to the next cash cow. The show must always go on.

                    .
You must be out of your Goddamned mind if you think for one second, that Al Haymon is not looking at this potential deal as a means of expanding his platform and for his own best self-interest. No he doesn't want to see Wilder leave him that's why he is going to DAZN with him dumbass. Besides, the man has close to 200 fighters you know and not all of them can fit on just the Fox and Showtime platforms alone. In addition, many are looking for and could use some additional dates too. So that's one of the major reasons why Haymon is meeting with Skipper also. So he can help increase his overall budget to add additional shows. So tell me what better way for Al Haymon to expand and give his fighters more exposure than on an additional platform? Don't be so naive. The man is a ruthless shark and a shrewd business man on top of that.

Fox doesnt want these guys got to DAZN. They want them on fox.
Lastly, if Fox really gave a damn about Deontay Wilder bolting, then why in the Hell did they offer him a Multi-Fight/Multi-$Million deal; Like ESPN offered Tyson Fury or the way CBS offered Floyd, Mayweather, Jr back in 2012 It's because they really didn't give a damn?
