From the reports it sounds like he bypassed Haymon and the others and spoke to DAZN directly, while it would be highly hypocritical of him if he did sign (Yano all the things he was saying about the platform), i’m never against a fighter getting paid and it looks like the unification is on the agenda. Big up!!
Nothing wrong with taking the call once a good number is mentioned (it was clearly world's better than the first DAZN offer, because at least they responded this time).

Now it's time to put up or shut up; if the offer ends up being like Fury's offer (giving up control of his career, for years of fights, for a giant pot of money that only materializes if other fighters come along), Wilder will likely get up and leave; for all the hoopla of his deal, Golovkin is now locked in for 6 fights, is openly fighting a bum next, will fight a bum in his second fight if Jacobs beats Alvarez (Alvarez will get the chance to pursue his rematch; unsure how the WBC wouldn't strip Jacobs here, but whatever), and basically has a $30m nut tied to eventually getting a third Alvarez fight, with who knows how much set for the other 5 fights (guessing that it's at least $10m per fight, but who knows).

In due time, we'll see how legit this is, or get hints at it anyway

That would be your english ultranationalists who have a bigoted prejudice driven approach to wilder because he is seen as opposing Joshua. It’s absolutely sickening and it’s a sign of a young “new” fan or the typical football watching yob chavs

Sign with DAZN, make more money fighting Joshua in a trilogy and shut Fury out completely. Fury may end up fighting bums if Wilder signs to tangle with Joshua.

You’re wasting digital ink on these people. These are kids who have never left England and have zero understanding of the world outside. Love my home country to death but it’s narrowmindedness is just too much sometimes....and it’s the world’s worst fane base, no class at all

I believe most peoples disdain with DZN is/was due to Eddie Hearn and not the platform itself. They gained more credibility when they signed Canelo and sounds like GGG will be coming too. The factor that was omitted in those and in a Wilder deal is Eddie. They are more successful and respectable once you get fast Eddie out of the room and let the grownups talk.

Yall keep saying that Showtime is done. They might match DAZN's offer. And if they don't, this might just be a 1 fight deal.

America is a bigger market, but it has a larger barriers of entry. Since boxing isn't as popular here, it takes more to reach the mainstream. Once you do reach the mainstream, then you become a Canelo, Pacquiao, Tyson Mayweather, etc
