That's what I'm thinking. Not sure if TR let him go or PBC Made him a better offer. To be honest TR got him Parker for the WBO title in Parkers back yard. He lost a close majority decision. I thought he won that fight. Hardly fought after that. Felt like bob treated him like trash dint really promote him right or care too, That what it seemed like. So curious what Pbc has in mind for him. Ruiz n Ortiz would work.Comment

LOL.
For the last 2 years I have heard fans out of the UK claiming that the the UK was the "center of the boxing universe"
The last 2 months proves what American boxing fans knew all along.
Merica is where it's at, the money, the fame, the bright lights, UK fans are claiming it's a UK era, but all their fighters want to fight stateside, and not only that, they want to ink long term deals stateside.
Selling out Wembley does not equate to money in the bank, or credibility.
The US reigns supreme.Last edited by Clubber Pac; 03-05-2019, 11:26 PM.Comment

With the landscape of boxing and the way American networks are throwing money around, fair to say UK boxing is dead for the most part? All their best fighters are pretty much fighting stateside, and both their top promoters have US network deals. Won't last forever, but for the next few years I doubt there will be all that many big UK shows. Even Hearn is now more open to having Joshua fight stateside more than he was in the past. Said the Wilder fight will happen in the states if it happens.Comment

Looks like it might be 3 cans for fury then try for a combination of Whyte/aj/wilder for last two fights of top rank dealComment

Still, Whyte now gets his own show (ESPN+ in the US, likely BT Sport in the UK), while likely fighting Fury in a big fight in the UK (BT Sport Box Office in the UK, and I have no idea if Arum is willing to bet ESPN PPV).
Whyte punches hard, is aggressive, and can knock guys out; Arum will put the bodies in front, and hope that ESPN can hype the knockouts of TBAs into something.
Whyte pockets a few bucks, hopes to catch Fury with something, and if he can't, hope to keep on as a world guy that can KO TBAs on other cards.Comment
