Sometimes you got to forget about money, and I think Whyte was clever not taking the Joshua rematch, he would have got paid £5m but if the outcome is the same as last time he fought AJ, then he would have to rebuild again and play second fiddle to Joshua with Hearn.

With Top rank he would probably play second fiddle to Fury but at least he can say “Am fighting in America on ESPN”. DAZN didn’t even pick up his last fight, which hurt him from the interview he did on IFL.

If he does go ahead and sue the WBC like am hearing then if he gets that shot ESPN would probably win the WBC purse bid. Which means Wilder fighting Whyte on ESPN..... Let’s wait and see how this works out.
He has no grounds to sue the WBC because he has yet to win a final eliminator, backing out of the Ortiz fight when it was ordered.

    Nice dream though

Or any other. With the money backing they have these sanctioning bodies only care about where they can collect the most fees.

I dont think it counts when it was achieved with an illegal head butt.

Agree, whyte ducked AJ to avoid another beat down, and continue the illusion he a top level boxer.

With UK fans like you encouraging this, there is no reason for the top boxers to take any risks. AJ/Whyte content to take no risk fights against bums, and milk the pathetic UK fans.

Plus who said they are done signing? Maybe they get Wilder and Ortiz too
Rivas is still with Yvon Michel, who went over and whooped the one heavyweight that Arum has been trying to build for the last two years, lol.

No different than ESPN/Arum trying to pick off Eleider Alvarez for Kovalev, watching that turn up craps, and needing to then sign an options deal with Alvarez for 5 fights to salvage the situation (5 fights, $5m, with $1.25m of that guaranteed, to a guy who was basically brought in for Kovalev to beat and then ESPN to push that "Kovalev beat the other guy's boogeyman").

If you have any word of an ESPN deal with Rivas, share it.

espn has multiple options on Rivas.

Signing alvarez didn’t come up craps for TR lol. They still have him and he’s still a top contender. Plus they got Kovalev who is sa bigger name than alvarez so thay signing was a win all the way around. Just like Beterbiev and Valera. That’s how they locked up the 175 lb division

Wilder and Ortiz could be next on the way.

Top rank didn’t pick off alvarez from Michel. It’s a co promotion.

Top rank just out maneuvered Haymon to pick off two belts in Alvarez and Beterbiev and then as contenders plus Rivas and put Haymon in a money losing situation to overpay for wilder Breazeale l.

From making a profit on wilder fury 2 to losing money for wilders next fight is a big turn of events.

Boxing is a business sport and if he thinks TR will offer him more, good and fine. I don't have issues with that. That's shows hez versatile and also a business man.
.i will recommend Ortiz do same, explore other options and compare the best one instead sitting on his couch to cry nobody wants to fight him.

Take a step or fvvk off. Nobody owes him a dime.
Agreed, Ortiz needs better management , the ways hes looking maybe to late who knows.

Would have to completely disagree here! He has the Belt and he has his Network Freedom to kinda just sit back and wait for the Best Offer from DAZN, ESPN or whoever.

Meanwhile PBC have some DECENT Opponent for him (Breazeale, Ortiz, Kownacki, Andy Ruiz, eventually Joe Joyce, Efe Ajagba, Tony Yoka who is with Richard Schaefer so will likely be on PBC when he does come over to the US) who we Hardcore fans may b#tch about him fighting BUT for the Casual fans they can reach on FOX they won't care they will gladly tune in to see a Knockout

I think Wilder is in the BEST Position because he is FREE!

Whyte is silly unless of course he is being offered a sizeable purse. However the light at the end of the tunnel is Tyson Fury. At least Signing with PBC he has a number of great matchups and Deontay is there if all goes well. In any case I’m sure he has weighed up his options
I wondered all along if Matchroom had Options on Parker for his fights with AJ and Whyte? Either way TR is the US promoter I belive. Whyte's good either way. He can do a TV deal in the UK and TR/espn In US. You know as well as I he's not signing with TR if the #'$ aren't right. So unless Matchroom puts something in writing quick its seems he may going to TR. All the British fighter fighting here now anyway These networks are spending $$$$.
