Most Wilder fans thought 8-4 was a draw anyway haha

I see a lot posters piping up now about a close fight and a draw, but seriously we can bump the fight thread and see a lot of these same guys saying "I had it a draw, 8-4 but it's scored even because of the knock downs"

Also this argument of Wilder "outworked" Fury. He threw 100 more punches, not a big difference in a 12 round fight. Fury landed more and cleaner in the majority of the rounds and also trumped Wilder on 3 of the 4 scoring criteria...this is Marquees of Queensbury scoring.

Fury not fighting the immediate rematch is not a good look and he'll have to deal with the backlash for now, but he won that fight, and under the circumstances he boxed a beautiful fight if you appreciate the art in what he did. I think he's probably kicking himself for the 9th and 12th and also prob thinking if he'd taken a couple more warm ups those lapses likely don't happen...

DAZN has three of the belts and PBC has one of the belts. A heavyweight serious about facing top competition would sign with DAZN or PBC, not ESPN.

I'm sure all these fights will get made in the next 24 months, network deals won't stop them, granted it makes negotiations tougher

I hope you're right. Out of the four heavyweights I care about the most (Joshua, Wilder, Fury and Miller), only two of them are scheduled to fight each other this year and with the three way DAZN, PBC and ESPN split of Joshua, Wilder and Fury, the best fights may be impossible for now.

When the money gets too big to ignore they'll see sense, I honestly think there's a good chance Joshua and Wilder fight this year and I think that is what Fury wants...one of them to wipe the other out.

I think the general consensus is that most people want to see Wilder-Joshua, it's explosive, the teams hate each other, and we haven't seen either guy put in with someone of the qualities of the other.

Fury signing with ESPN definitely made Joshua vs. Wilder more likely than it was before, but I stil don't see it happening this year. I think Joshua's most likely 2019 opponents are Miller and Pulev, while Wilder's most likely 2019 opponents are Breazeale and Ortiz.

With mandatories cleared up, I could see a two fight deal in 2020 where both of Joshua and Wilder's fights that year are against each other. If they split the first two fights, then you can do a trilogy fight in 2021, although a couple of belts would likely be stripped by then.

Let's see, I think time is not on Wilder's side, he's a little older, and it genuinely seems Joshua and Hearn want it so maybe they get it done. Granted they both win their upcoming fights

I think what Joshua is doing is similar to what Canelo did with GGG. It's not that he doesn't want the fight, but he knows he benefits from Wilder getting a couple years older, so what's the rush?

Tyson Fury probably did win the boxing match, but Deontay Wilder won the fight. 'And he was the champion, and decked Tyson Fury twice' You don't go to america and win a title by playing tick.

Tyson Fury states that he is a fighting man, well then lets rematch Deontay Wilder the WBC champion at some time in 2019.
