If u scored it for fury that says it all cause you are the most bias poster going. Wilder had a 3 point headstart on your card cause he was black.

Yeah I hate people who subscribe to "must take the belt from the champion" or "he lost the battle but won the war" or any other dumb cliches that get thrown around.

If you have more points at the end you win...its so simple, but complicated by idiots.

One (of several) problems I have with this whole "Fury won 10 rounds" garbage is that a lot of the folks saying it seem to either have short memories or reserve their myopia for this fight and this fight only.

Look at the cards when Fury upset Wlad (115-112 twice and 116-111).

Well, if you think those cards were accurate, how can you possibly have a problem with a draw for Fury vs Wilder?

Deontay did much, much better than Wlad AND scored 2 KDs.

Outlanding a guy by an average of one punch per round IS NOT a boxing clinic, especially if the other guy is the one making the fight and your entire strategy is based on avoiding one.

Don't get me wrong...I like great boxing and I think Fury did a great job. But, he simply did not have enough offense to warrant anyone calling his performance dominant or a runaway.

It was a close fight and it could have went either way. A draw was a decent outcome.

The only thing clear was why Finkel insisted on a Barclays Center rematch ..... we already know the Wilder fans have no business going near arithmetic or seeing anything objectively ., we also know they should never use the word pretend in any post for obvious reasons . lol

Honestly it's directed at the people who scored it for Fury thinking they'd scored it a draw(8-4), even days after the fight and when they realised they'd scored it wrong and actually for Fury they changed their tune. I see some of those guys now saying they scored it a draw etc and it's embarrassing...for them.

To score this fight a draw you had to give Wilder every close round, I personally saw him lose most of those as Fury landed the better shots and won the battle of the jabs, he fought his fight in most rounds and defended great. I had it 9-3 Fury, could see 8-4 or 10-2, 7-5 is possible if you're really looking to give Wilder rounds and don't know how to score effective aggression

Straight from the Canelo/GB playbook. "Marinate" until your opponent turns 35, which is pretty much when physical decline becomes painfully obvious for nearly all athletes, and THEN take the fight.

And if you're REALLY studying the Canelo way, you also marinate and delay the rematch (if there is one.) Wait, wait and wait some more. Perfect strategy for a guy in his 20s to use against a strong opponent slipping into his mid-30s.

I can live with the draw, though I scored the fight for Fury (while rooting for Wilder.) But I can't respect Fury for ducking the rematch -- especially after a draw with two knockdowns.

This is EXACTLY the sort of fight that is begging for a rematch.

In most drawn fights, you'll get a fairly even number of people leaning one way or another.
Here, the spilt seems to be "Fury won", "a draw was fair" or my personal favourite "Fury got knocked out/concussed/killed and resurrected by the power of Jesus".
                  Says a lot.
And yes, the "two rounds plus the knock-downs = a draw" gave me a chuckle.

Yes and No, it does matter. There are two things happening during every boxing match and they are? A boxing match, and the fight.

Deontay Wilder won the fight, Tyson Fury with his semi violent game of tick won the boxing match therefore? Just like Peter Fury stated, a draw was a fair decision.

Fury is the house now. Whether you like it or not, he's a big marketable name and in a lot of people's eyes whoever is the champ needs to face him.

Wilder needs Fury more than the other way around, as no one with two braincells think Wilder won the fight.
