Like... Who? Whyte? Breazeale? They both have other designs. Parker? Nah, bigger money or easier money fighting Whyte or at home. Pulev? Povetkin? Think either of them want Ortiz, or offer up their bodies to bigger paydays?

A good part of this can be traced to the way Ortiz has been handled, but it is obvious that he does not have a ton of options. Crap, Hughie Fury won't take that payday and he has zero money options, much less Tyson Fury who has plenty.

Ortiz is obviously to dangerous for these top fighters. I do not get it. He is beatable and would be a great part of any resume. But he is still quick fisted and looked great in stanima and movement. He just is not getting any love from anyone.

In addition, Tyson doesn't punch hard either. All Tyson Fury has is defense which he will use to try play keep away and run out the clock.

However, Ortiz is no Deontay Wilder. He knows how to pick his shots very carefully and accurately and also, unlike Deontay Wilder, Ortiz knows how to locate a moving target very well because he is the more fundamentally sound and skilled of the two fighters.

This fight will be an obvious duck by Tyson Fury. However, if they do decide to fight. I pick Ortiz by unanimous decision.
LOL ortiz is a overated schmuck who hasn't achieved anything in the boxing world.

        'Furys chin isn't as durable'

Considering he got up twice from a punch from wilder the 2nd one being a knockout punch that bum ortiz couldn't get up from ; you're wrong.

What title does Fury have that Ortiz is asking for a shot at?
I hope you don't mean the "Lineal" one.

He appears to be asking a top 10 fighter for a fight - just like you want him to do.

I still don't get the angst over the #5 guy wanting to fight your #2 guy. Since when do fans get upset that a fighter wants to fight someone presumably better? I mean, what did Miller do to earn a fight with Joshua?
There's nothing wrong with Ortiz wanting to fight Fury. Props to him for throwing his hat into the ring. But it would be a difficult fight to make on ESPN, considering the bad blood between Haymon and Arum.

And if it doesn't happen we are probably going to get dozens of "Fury ducked Ortiz" threads here and "Fury is hiding from the boogieman" videos from the LDBC over the coming months.

A Fury ducked Ortiz thread that few respond to or a LDBC video that doesn't get mentioned on NSB hurts no one. Matter of fact, I hear more mention of LDBC from Joshua Fury fans than anyone else.

Fury doesn't have a good chin. That's a fact that has been proven. Getting up isn't a testament to your chin, it's a testament to your heart. Further, Fury looked like Pacman did against Marquez. Only diff was by miracle, Fury got up. Didn't he say he has no clue how he got up and considered it to be divine intervention?

Problem is, if a top fighter beat him people would just mention Ortiz's age. Even against Hammer the commentators came up with the classic "they say you can get old overnight" line.

Joshua, Fury or Whyte would get no credit for beating Ortiz unless Ortiz beats someone of the level below first - the likes of Parker, Kownacki, Povetkin. Wilder wouldn't gain anything by winning a rematch because he's already beaten Ortiz and he's only getting older.

That's his problem, in my opinion.
