I agree. Dominic Breazeale is bonafied garbage. I would rather see Wilder challenge either Whyte, Ortiz or Kownacki for his next voluntary defense than Breazeale.

Whyte theatening to sue the WBC if they don't make him mandatory on the basis that they stipulated Whyte Breazeale as mandatory eliminator. His arguement would be that he has made decisions based on that status and it is Breazeale who is pulling out of the fight, not him, so per their own rules he should inherit.

Hearn is aiming to pincer Wilder (or Breazeale if he wins) between Whyte and Joshua.
        I agree. Good post!

Tough date in the middle of Canelo - Jacobs & Joshua- Miller. Going to make $10 a month DAZN look like a bargain if they put this on PPV.

He needed Fury to stand out ; Fury has let him down big time.
Come off it. Joshua vs Miller is a much better fight but as usual AJ is held to a much higher standard given **** while Wilder is given a pass for taking on worser fighters.

Team hearn bigged up Breazeale prior to the AJ fight, Hearn quotes Breazeale's name when saying AJ has a good resume (Wlad, Povetin, Parket, Whyte, Breazeale etc). They can't turn round now and say he is trash - that would be admitting that one of AJ defences was not worth much.

Prepare to see Breazeale leaning on and holding Wilder for as long as he possibly can before Wilder gets far enough away to throw a straight right. The safe bet is on Wilder managing to get himself in position for the KO within 12 rounds, but lets see how he handles the constant bear-hugs from the far heavier Breazeale.
The ref will break the fighters apart as soon as they clinch. The status quo is behind Wilder and that’s just how boxing is these days. I don’t see Breazeale being allowed to use his weight as an advantage (which is pretty much his only advantage in this fight apart from possibly his chin)

I didn't say he's trash, I said the Miller fight is much better.

They won’t, but it doesn’t change the fact that Miller is a stronger opponent than Breazeale. That’s pretty much universally recognised.

Big props to all that have been saying that Wilder would fight DB.

Breazeale is Takam level both contenders for top ten on their day and would be Wilders 2nd/3rd best win. He is AJ's 5th/6th best win and to Wilder he is AJ's leftovers.

No way can you say Wilder fighting AJ's weaker leftovers is a better fight than undefeated Miller current ranked above Breazeale in every independent ranking including Ring and TBRB who do not even have Brezeale in top ten.

Now the only guys Wilder could fight that could be argued are higher profile or level of comp are Whyte, Ortiz, Povetkin, Parker and maybe Usyk.
