Out of the 8 Crawford and Triple g have the weakest resume!
It should be out of Canelo, Ward and Mayweather. The other's come behind these 3.
Canelo only has 3 notable wins, cotto, lara, and Golovkin which is arguable he won.

Crawford has gamboa, postol, horn and diaz, benavidez are all tough fighters. Those wins are better than the angulo, kirkland, khan fights canelo had. Those fights werent worth sht. Even Indongo as sht as he is meant more than beating the shtsack chavez jr. I suppose you could compare indongo to the trout win. Crawford is beating better, fresher fighters more consistently.

All these candidates are pretty weak. Mayweather is the best fighter of half a decade, it's just too long to go without taking a risk and it's not like his wins are really impressive, he didnt move up beat a hagler or something. He beat old men and a child. Example, if rungvisai beats estrada in the rematch he'd have beaten prime p4p#1 chocolatito and estrda twice in near half a decade, that shts on mayweathers list of hasbeens.

Will have to wait for the end of the year. My thoughts are:

Lomachenko if he can get tanks btch ass in the ring and beat him.
Mikey garcia if he can beat spence
Golovkin/canelo if either wins a trilogy

So Mayweather and Ward don't count because they didnlt fight every year?

            Well.......

Lomachenko didn't fight for 3 years of the decade = disqualified
Garcia didn't fight for 2 years of the decade = disqualified

Mayweather? What on earth are they eating. He beat a past it Cotto, a KO'ed past it Pacquiao, and a young drained Canelo, then absolute bums in berto and Ortiz, that's his best wins in the decade.

Meanwhile, we got Lomachenko tearing the divisions a new *******, making p4p fighters quit. We got Usyk unifying the most stacked division in boxing, and beating the prime fighters in their backyard.

Canelo has a good shot too, Andre Ward, but he's too inactive.

Mayweather is a no for me. It’s between Canelo and ward. I’d go with Canelo slightly. Ward would’ve got it had he moved up to fight Dawson instead of chad moving down.

Do you realise Floyd fans won a poll recently for being the most deluded. Well it's fans like you which contributed to Floyd fans winning poll.
For Floyd to be a candidate he should have at.least made an effort to hang around d until 2020. Maybe not officially retire. Even if he wasn't fighting after he beat berto. He could pretend he might rematch Nelo and pac, but pull out at last minute

I didnt say anyone was disqualified because they didnt fight every year. I said half a decade is a long time and his resume doesnt make up for it. Didnt mention ward neither, talk about projecting.

Now that you mention him, I think he should be above Mayweather. I rate Froch very high with a great resume, and kovalev was steamrolling everyone until ward, also thought he won both fights. Both prime and ward moved up to beat kovalev.

i hope Canelo GGG 3 happens at the end of the year.
No one on this list really stands out!

But I'd lean towards these 2 guys. Crawford is next.
Ward ..ok but I felt he lost the first fight against Kovalev.
                      Mayweather..no!

Usyk's run is impressive...so he's up there too..

Canelo/GGG/Usyk... if Crawford had ended up facing legit 147 champs this year, he'd be in the running..but he's facing Khan.
