Rehydration clause wasn’t in effect for last fight don’t understand why would implement it for this fight when they got rid of rule after the ggg/Jacobs debacle

So the king of catch weight fights, who's gone as far as to have a catch weight that included a half a pound, who also had a rehydration clause in his last fight, didn't request this rehydration clause? Sure, seems legit. Canelo has proven himself to be an honest guy. I mean, we all believe the tainted meat story, so why not this?

I thought anyone fighting for the IBF belts can weight more than 10pounds over the weight on fight night?
