Wrong! By the time Joshua fought Povetkin and Klitschko they both had a combined 5 losses on their records; With 3 of them coming by way of knock out. Where as Luis Ortiz and Tyson Fury were both high risked and undefeated opponents and were never knocked out. In addition, Wladimir Klitschko had already been defeated by Tyson Fury nearly two years prior to the Joshua match up which cancels out the significance of his victory over Klitschko.

I sound really dumb? I thought Yanks didn't do irony? You sound really dumb bro. Wilder, just like damn near every fighter back in the day, fought 6+ times a year his first couple years as a prospect. Everybody fights no hopers as a prospect. Wilder was just more active as a prospect than most fighters nowadays. And since winning his fight against Stiverne for his belt. Pretty much everybody Wilder has fought could be catagorized as a contender or fringe contender.
Yes, OBVIOUSLY I'm aware he won't be fighting killers on his pro debut, but the guy's been a pro for a DECADE.
I wish I could find that listing of all his opponents and where they were ranked when he fought them.... it was shocking.
It's just amazing that after fighting TWO opponents worth a **** (and Fury was an opportunistic match up given the lay off, etc.) all of a sudden Windmillers are pretending the guy has a resume.
And how much does "he's fighting the best (for the last 11 months of a decade-long career)" matter when the majority of people think you LOST one of them?
So he fought cans, but now he's fighting the best... and getting gift decisions/a KO that the crooked ref gave a three-minute count for and let Tyson go for a run around the whole ring to give him head time to clear (delete as applicable)Comment

LOL, so what?
Wilder mother said she got the urge to blow Fury when seeing him in that position.
Fury's father wasn't paid to be the bout's official. His opinion means nothing; and is clearly biased because he was watching his son get hurt. Nick Diaz has said the similar things after watching Nate Diaz fight. Rampage was hoping they'd stop the fight when his teammate, Cheick Kongo, was getting battered by Pat Barry.Comment

I hope you are getting paid for this. Seriously, I am impressed. I can't think of a good reason why a sane adult would go to such lengths to maintain this level of denial - out-right lying - unless getting paid for it. Are you on Beyonce's PR staff? Seriously, come clean. You'll at least maintain some level of respect and relevance. If you continue the shtick, though, you'll be relegated to the same grouping as the other trolls who spam these pages wilth filth.Fury made the count: Technically yes, but a real case is made that he laid motionless too long for it to continue.
Fury won the rest of the round? Debatable.
Fury ran away w/the fight? Definitely not.
Question 4: who got X-rays, CT-Scans, MRI's and left with the biggest headache after the fight?
Fury would have got a win in an amatuer fight. In a pro Championship fight, those images of a 6'9" tree falling hard with blank eyes made an impression on those judges, and called into doubt the EFFECTIVENESS of Fury's 12 rounds of pitter-pat points lead (which would have been a very small lead anyway).
Up till then I thought he may be up on points, but had done no real damage to the champ.
And that was the 2nd big knockdown.
Fury out-classed Wilder. It was a clinic. He did it coming off the worst lay-off we've ever seen at this level of Boxing. And he took Wilder's best shots along the way. Despite the corrupt system doing everything it could to deny him, he still managed to secure a Draw.
you really can't be a mature, sane adult and assert anything else. SOooo, again, I ask, "who's paying you?" and is it really worth your dignity?Comment

well now we've been introduced to the nurse who changes his diapers! Welcome!Jesus, this comment section is a disaster. Holyfield states his opinion and a bunch of online tough guys go apoplectic trying to discredit the man, as if they know boxing better than a former champion. It's not unreasonable to feel that way, it's the level disrespect merely because of disagreement that is completely out of place. Get a ****ing grip weirdos, you're making this site unbearable.Comment

oh telli, stop being coy. the ruse is up. it was admirable while it lasted, but you're doing your man a disservice now.Fury's not an easy fight for anybody. Wilder could catch Fury in any round, but the fight went the way it did. Personally, I thought Wilder was doing great. It could've ended sooner had he not abandoned the gameplan, but that's life and boxing. Considering Wilder suffered a broken arm only 12 weeks before camp, it's miraculous he could even land that thing at all with force.
Has Deontay ever thought to offer Lomachenko Boxing lessons? I'm sure Vasily would jump at the chance to learn from a true master of the craft!Comment

If there really is such a thing as karma, someday someone will strap you to a chair and force you to listen while they read YOUR own forum posts allowed.lol Fury wasn't talking to the ref. He was almost dead. Fury himself said he was out cold.
Wilder admitted to a knockdown, so? Being knocked down hard is way different than a TKO.
Wilder hit Fury with two huge left hooks. If it weren't for all the warranted celebrating at having KOed Fury, he wouldn't have been that gassed. That's the only thing that allowed Fury to fight back.
Just because a fighter wakes up from a KO, gets all that time to recuperate, and is still a decent version of himself afterward doesn't erase that he just got knocked out.
Talk about the wrath of God.Comment

#1-I never said anyone was better than anyone else. #2-I'm a boxing fan, I like AJ too, but I think Wilder WILL beat him. #3- the Rahman reference was made because all of this "who is better" talk means nothing when you put those gloves on. Just like Rahman upset the odds, Wilder is very capable of upsetting all of your "who is better" and "who has the better resume" noise. Ratings and resumes have never stopped championships from changing hands ...
Like I said, I like AJ and he is talented and capable. It will be a good fight. I believe Wilder will win.
