Joe Joyce has the right mindset. He doesn't need to go out there trying to out perform Wilder, he just needs to fight his fight. Everything else will fall in line after that.

If you can`t take out fat punching bag inside 8 rounds, then you are not ready. Stiverne is no contender.

Joyce is experienced boxer with long amateur career. he is 33. He has no time to wait. Wilder turned pro with 23. A huge difference.

Joyce must make big steps, like Lomachenko did.

Wouldn't be surprised if Stiverne did a Kownacki on Joyce. Kownacki looked just as bad physically as Stiverne did when he blew out Washington... #robotmania

Just heard Showtime team mention Stiverne weighing in at 273lbs! Heaviest in his career, I remember reading an article where he claimed he had rededicated himself and he was training nonstop and in top level condition. As he walks into the ring he looks very, very fat.

They are taking it slow as possible but there are factors forcing their hand. Joyce is 33. Fighting Stiverne was only a risk if Stiverne had trained to win. They took that risk but could not risk facing Ortiz and didn’t.

Joyce turns 34 this year. If they don't move him quickly he won't get anywhere.
