You can judge by physical attributes and skill set, but it's the big fights in the ring that matter.

I'll need to see Joshua in more big fights before forming an opinion.

Gut feel says it would be close, which places Joshua in good company.

Have to heavily favor Lewis but let’s not pretend that Joshua would not have a chance.

On a good night Lewis wins by KO. On a rare bad night AJ KOs Lewis. Lewis has two KO losses against two guys no nearly as good as AJ.

              IT's competetive.

Prime lewis had spirited fights with worse fighters than Joshua

of course the wilder turds: "lewis ko1 joshua wouldnt land a punch"

              yeah, nah

It's a 50/50 fight or maybe a 60/40 in favor of Lenox based on his legacy.
Let's not pretend we have seen Lenox flattened by guys below AJ, why can't AJ flatten him as well?

Anyone can be flattened by a big punch at HW. Overall Lennox is a far superior fighter. When motivated he's the best head to head HW ever.

How far out of his prime do you consider Holyfield to have been when Lewis dominated him for 24 rounds?

Joshua now? Lennox with Manny beats him easily, we havent seen Joshua's prime yet so the jury is out. Ill say this right now, I dont think Joshua ever reaches the level Lennox was in his prime and I hated Lennox with the wrath of thousand suns back then. Lewis in his prime and prepared honestly probably beats every HW champion who has ever held the title. There is one reason for that aside from his natural talent, Emanuel Steward. This is an overlooked and crucial part of Lewis's development. Had he not hooked up with Manny he would have just been a guy that held the WBC once. Manny dont get the love he should for making this mfer the killer he was.
