Well Bob Arum is ultimately responsible for all the boxing content on ESPN; As he been given complete, creative and artistic autonomy over the entire sport on the network.

However Bob Arum doesn't have a feud or any animosity toward Matchroom Sport and the Hearn family but Frank Warren does because they are domestic rivals and competitors.

It just so happens that Anthony Joshua is a Matchroom Sport fighter. Ole fish eyes sees ESPN as an extension of BT Sports and he is not in the business for any of his rivals or competitors in advertising and promoting their upcoming shows on his platform.

This is personal with Frank Warren but not with Bob Arum and since the two are now business partners Bob relented by acquiescing to Frank's wishes.
