F#CK ESPN!
AJ going on something like Joe Rogan Show would be better promo than going on ESPN in this ERA where people are on Social Media most of the day far more than they are in front of a TV! Hopefully that is in the works!
From a Business Stand Point, I totally get it but from a Fan Stand Point...BULLSH#T!Comment

To be fair ESPN has been objective in their boxing coverage and don’t just limit coverage to Top Rank boxers or other fighters appearing on their platforms. Whereas you will never hear any talk about fighters outside of the PBC on their shows. ESPN is like Ring magazine in that they cover the sport even though they have interests that conflict. It will ultimately serve them well to build AJ’s profile up in the US if he is going to fight Fury down the line. Same for the other HW’s.Comment

Which is pretty serious for a sports network to do. Not just any sports network, but the top sports network out there.
Given these tactics, do you really think other networks will or rival promoters will work with them?Comment

Yes and no. Like Stephen A. Smith speaking to Gvozdyk on their show and only mentioning Kovalev, Alvarez and "Andre Ward" as potential opponents (before they signed Beterbiev) - no mention of Beterbiev, Bivol, Jack, his mandatory Browne, etc.To be fair ESPN has been objective in their boxing coverage and don’t just limit coverage to Top Rank boxers or other fighters appearing on their platforms. Not to mention Stephen A. Smith really doesn't know much about boxing anyways. Just whatever they write down on his notes before interviews lolComment
