he also can't struggle against mikey or else his stock goes down. imagine if he goes the distance with mikey?

You're seriously underrating Mikey if you think he's some can Spence is going to walk through.

I think very highly of Spence, but I'm leaning towards Mikey here.

go ahead put money on it then. the size is too much for mikey to deal with spence is really a super middleweight.

          You got that right!

That's all bad if this fight goes the distant. He needs to embarrass Mikey for even challenging him.

I’ll say it again, not completely sold on Spence in all honesty, his opposition just hasn’t been there. If he smashes through elite fighters beginning with Mikey then I’ll believe it. His best wins in Algieri and Brook have a bit of an asterisk after them in my view. Algieri coming off two loses (and innumerable knockdowns) was in a downsporal; Brook coming into the fight after major surgery to repair his face was a big question mark.

I wish other top WW thought the same and jumped in the ring with him. They reluctantly found reasons not to.

IF he beats Mikey then Unify with Porter or Ugas then Unify with Thurman then yeah he is Minimum Top 3 For Sure. But yeah he has everything in place to build up one hell of a Resume but he still have to go out and actually win and PROVE IT!

Its literally not possible. Errol - rightfully- isn't even Top 10 PFP. Unless he beats GGG or Canelo...a WW beating a LW, no matter how devastating, does little for legacy or resume

Ca$hnelo's fight in May is far more telling of PFP status. If Canelo wins thay convincingly he makes a strong case for #1, but Usyk is trying for a big leap against PEDvetkin, TC is likely to fall from #1 as his competition is exciting but not strong, and Loma could even fall to #3 with another mediocre performance.

Meanwhile Gervonta Davis could rightfully enter Top 10. GGG is still Top 10 until he loses to someone other than Canelo. Pacquiao could be Top 10 and possibly Top 5 if he meets and disposes of Thurman quickly.

SRR and Ionue are still relevant and borderline Top 5 guys.

Mikey is Top 10 and arguably Top 5. A win pushes him to Top 3 and a loss changes little as hes fighting someone so much larger.

A.J. remains Top 10. Fury and Wilder are probably just outside Top 10.

Callum Smith might be Top 10. Hurd might be Top 10. Another Krusher win, especially if it's against Bivol or his other country mate hypejob.

I've given more than 10 fighters who are all more deserving of PFP Top 10..let alone #1...over Errol Spencer

                  TOP 10 (rough order)
                  TC
                  Loma
                  Canelo
                  Usyk
                  Mikey G
                  SRR
                  Ionue
                  Pacman
                  A.J.
                  Callum/Hurd/LSC/GR Jr./Krusher/Gervonta/Fury/Wilder...etc.

Notice how Errol isnt even competitive for Top 10. That's because hes beaten noone. Golovkin looked like a FREIGHT TRAIN before he stepped up to Danny J and Canelo where he still looked strong, but far from remarkable.

Spencers only fight was against Kell Brook and there are glaring asterisks on thay fight and it was STILL 4-4 after 8 rounds...not impressive at all for a self proclaimed PFP #1. And now hes "on the wrong side of the street" from fighting his best rival...instead he fights a L I G H T W E I G H T.

                  Not impressed. At all.

And moving up 2 weight classes and then back down 2 weight classes...makes sense that Brook GASSED...fight was 4-4 after 8 rounds.

                    Not impressed. At all.

It’s all about risk vs reward right? Clearly he is dangerous, not unbeatable, but dangerous, and if the money wasn’t there well there’s that. Perhaps after the PPV those fights are coming
