According to BScene, Mikey is #3 and Errol is #9, so I don't think beating is enough! That being said, Spence vs. Garcia is the only matchup of Top 10 P4P fighters on the radar. SSR vs. Inoue, MAN UP! Now if Errol was to beat Crawford or Canelo, then I would make him P4P#1 instantly!

No. He doesn't get P4P#1 for beating a smaller man in Mikey or Crawford. He certainly moves up, though.

But he's not even jumping into the top 5 for beating Mikey.

He won't get that credit for beating Mikey, but he will sure as hell be considered by #1 P4P by any knowledgeable fan if he beats Bud Crawford. Crawford is a real WW and he's the most talented guy in the whole sport.

Having said that, when they do fight, Terrence is going to school Spence.

Props to Mikey for taking this fight. But from the other point of view, fighting the guy from 2 divisions below - is it a disgrace? Same goes to Loma-Rigo..

I wouldn't call it a disgrace. You have to look at it from Spence's perspective who is considered a P4P fighter. If Spence didn't take the fight, then people are going to say he ducked Mikey. None of the other welterweights want no part of him and Spence hasn't fought since mid June. He doesn't want to be inactive for almost a year especially when he's in shape and at his prime.

By doing what, beating little Mikey and Shawn Porter or Keith Thurman?? Hardly P4P no.1 material. He aint fighting Crawford anytime soon (if at all) with their promotional allegiances. He's overrated already, and he's overrating his 2019 prospects here.
