Not sure where you pulled that 'fact' from but the Forbes (a well trusted publisher regarding wealth) top 25 has the top 10 as 5 white, 5 black.

    https://www.forbes.com/sites/kurtbad.../#23869e24b644

But I know what you mean, typically in America, there are a lot of well paid black sportsmen.

Also, if I read that Forbes article correctly, only one of the top 10 are still actively engaging in their sport; Tiger Woods (unless he retired?)

Following on from that, Number 11 to 25, only 5 are black (is A-Rod black? if not, then its 2).

Anyway, I do hope that one day the USA gets its racial politics in order, sad to see people are still stuck in the 1960s.
I disagree. If there was a ******* mass trump wouldn’t be president. I think he would do extremely well if painted as the all American hero. I can’t remember the last time that happened.

I have to disagree with that hypothesis because both Klitschko boys; Who were heavyweights fought in the U.S. On HBO or American television several times and never became mainstream, crossover, box office draws among casual fans in the States and they were white. However, if Deontay Wilder was British he could very well possibly be making what Anthony Joshua does now per fight or at the very least making a lot more of what he is currently making in the U.S. Because boxing isn't a mainstream sport in America anymore.

Wilder acts like a loud mouth, makes too many excuses and has fought bums his whole career with his only good fights being Ortiz which he made hard work of as the less proven equivalent of Povetkin and a draw with Fury this year.

That's why he isn't that popular.

Do you think AJ would be as popular as he is now if he'd only fought Povetkin and got a draw against someone like Fury?

How many times is Deontay going to pull the race card? And whats worse is when you look at all the Afro American fighters that have been turned into millionaires and world known superstars it sorta takes a bit of a dump on his latest race accusations. TO THIS DAY.

If Deontay Wilder had not fought well over 30 bums and been promoted properly then who knows what he could be getting offered now. Although some people say if Deontay had taken on better oppoosition instead of well over 30 bums he would have an amount of losses on his record and nobody would give a toss about him anyway.

At the end of the day Wilder is just not that good. His management knew this which is why we have the current Wilder resume. They protected him, he fought bums, he didnt gain momentum because he didnt fight names. Fighting known names with good reputations is EVERYTHING if you want to be a big rich star with a big fanbase. You can cherry pick your way to a world title but you cant cherry pick your way in to fans hearts.

No, Joshua popularity in the U.K. Dates back to the amateurs when he represented Great Britain in the 2012 Summer Olympics and won the Gold medal for his country. That's how he got his initial push and is the reason why he continues to ride the tidal waves of money and popularity in the U.K.

Mayweather did fine, Joshua is doing fine.

He needs a better team around him if he wants to make more money.
