What does P4P mean to you?

I keep seeing lists, but I dont knoww what it means? Do most people consider it boxing skill? Because if so, wouldn't james toney be on there?

i always thought about it was a person who could move up/down weight classes and still win. aka mayweather, winky, probally JT, prob calzag. but this is a reason why i cant put pac on there because if pac moves up, i see him losing. anyone?

No, it's how good they are, regardless of weight.

It's a list of current fighters who are at the top of the game, beating the best opponents available and minimizing losses/slip-ups. P4P to me means Floyd Mayweather.

Its how good they are and how dominant they are in there respective weightclass or weightclasses. And the level of competition they face. You need to be fighting the best to be regarded as the best.

It means if all everyone was in the same weight class, who would be the best. And the answer to that question is Floyd Mayweather.

Well that is true in essence, but a fighter that has been dominant at more then weight class is more likley to earn a higher p4p rating.

Well think about where Pac started.
His first fight was at 105 pounds.
The fact that he is still dominant at 130 pounds is testimant to how good he is.

Yeah, but he wasn't fighting the best on his way to the top. IF I remembe correctly, he wasn't getting any titles moving up from 105 to 130. All it really means is that he was growing up alittle bit and he wasn't able to fight in those weight classes anymore.
