Well definitely not Lopez and that other guy you mentioned! Both Lopez and are very highly rated with various types of talent and styles and they are contenders and if Davis beats them and then wins another title at 135, and doesnt get himself into trouble, he could be a star. That's an IF he can do those things. So the question is if he and Lom dont fight, what 2-3 fighters would Davis need to fight to become one of the faces, maybe not face of boxing on a high level. Top 10 PFP for example. I'm not saying he will but a what if he beats X guys.
Honestly I can't answer that question. It takes more than just fighting top guys to be a superstar!
It takes personality and character to begin with...
I like Davis and I like the way he fights. IDK if he can become a superstar or the face of boxing.
He definitely has skills and potential though!
He's young and has time to develop and gain a huge fan base.
But he won't do it fighting smaller guys or fighting Japanese novices in exhibition fights that's for sure!Comment

The biggest thing he is missing is personality, now that you mention it. So many other guys have that something in their character whether they have the good guy or the bad guy persona that makes them interesting and I'm not seeing that in Davis who seems flat. But if he fights the Japanese kickboxer, he is going to lose a portion of his fanbase. Or shows more signs of immaturity like he has shown, that will not be a good look.Well definitely not Lopez and that other guy you mentioned!

davis is 3-4 years older than Lopez and Haney and ain’t even in their weight class. Tank at least should fight Berchelt who could ko him. Won’t even mention loma who would be a big favorite over TankBoth Lopez and are very highly rated with various types of talent and styles and they are contenders and if Davis beats them and then wins another title at 135, and doesnt get himself into trouble, he could be a star. No reason why a fighter in his prime should be participating in exhibition fights... That's ridiculous! The biggest thing he is missing is personality, now that you mention it. This is par the course today for African American fighters. Fight bums, talk tough and run and duck top competition who really are the backbone of boxing.
This is a hip hop ****** culture of boxing that has turned it into a laughingstock. Weak people like Mayweather and Davis continues to sully the former greats from America .Comment
