He's really not, but he's clearly the goods, as far as talent goes. "Face of boxing" is a title earned through doing monster numbers repeatedly, and Davis isn't close to that, nor does he have the name recognition to even be considered notable outside of boxing circles. It's a cliche by now, but you really could say his name in most places and have nobody know who he is. Fighting 3 times this year would certainly help with that. I hope he stays disciplined and doesn't keep Bronering his career blowing in between fights.

Lets say for whatever reason, Davis moves to 135 and Lom and Davis dont fight for whatever reasons, what other 2 would he have to beat? I really feel that beating Lopez and Haney, maybe even one more champ could do it.

Both Lopez and are very highly rated with various types of talent and styles and they are contenders and if Davis beats them and then wins another title at 135, and doesnt get himself into trouble, he could be a star. That's an IF he can do those things. So the question is if he and Lom dont fight, what 2-3 fighters would Davis need to fight to become one of the faces, maybe not face of boxing on a high level. Top 10 PFP for example. I'm not saying he will but a what if he beats X guys.
