That's the first I personally have heard that said. What I have heard is that he doesn't have enough power to go above 135.

Here is what his promoter said a couple of years ago.

“He’ll take anybody,”*Arum said of Lomachenko via ******.com.*“He’ll go to 135 pounds and he’ll make a joke of [Jorge] Linares. He’ll make a joke of [Mikey] Garcia. They’re really good fighters, but this guy is super special. You’ve never seen anything like this. Maybe he’ll go to 140, I don’t know. He’s going to do this to everybody.”

So he went from maybe 140 to his frame isn't built for 140. Did his frame change that his promoters thought it was big enough for 140?

Again...Loma has a bigger frame than Pacman.

Mosely DUCKED Floyd so you can save that B.S. for the dopes.

Cotto DUCKED Floyd after the Gatti fight so again you can save that for the dopes.

Manny DUCKED the test cuz he was cheating & didn't want to get caught. Save that for the dopes in denial.

Nelo fought what a pound heavier than 152 the fight before? Again save it....& stop talking like the twinkies do & saying he was "drained" sound like b!tch talk in a fight game! I swear we have the most pvssy fans in this generation.

And Cheno got caught cheating. AGAIN, save it..

Isn't it funny when T.B.E. catches these dudes cheating YA'LL got a problem T.B.E.?
Mosley was moving up in weight, 152 was used to drained get a clue the title is a 154 pound title not 152 only idiots like you don't get this, making up stories on Cotto nice try, Cheating who was caught with IV Flush ? who tested positive 3 times only to pay off the commission stories is on LA Times by Montoya

Let's be consistent here. You can't knock when star fighters make stipulations to make for a fair playing field. Especially when it's an investment for boxing as a whole and to oversee the safety of ones career whether it's manny, Floyd, Canelo, Golovkin, etc. It is what it is when it comes to boxing politics.
What you are purposely omitting are the facts that both Marquez and Canelo challenged Floyd, not the other way around. The weight stipulations were their suggestions. Actually Canelo months earlier offered to drop to 150. Big difference than what Pacquiao/Roach did, demanding catch weights with the sole purpose of weakening their opponents. Pac fought Oscar at 147 but refused to fight Mosely at the same weight until a couple of years later when Mosley was almost 40.

As far as a "fair playing field", basically it means weight drain the bigger guy to even the odds. Total BS anyway you spin it. With 17 weight classes now when their used to be 8 it has become a joke.

Err, your timeline was waaaaay off. Floyd-Pac was not on the table when Floyd-JMM fight was made .WTF are you talking about ?

Floyd-Maidana 1 did not have to the WBA jr middle belt on the line b/c it was not a jr middle fight . Neither one was allowed to go over 147.
Just like SRL-LaLonde was a farce light heavy title fight at 168.
Do I need to teach you boxing history ?

You make absolutely no sense and sounds like your memory is shot .
Any weight where Floyd has to come in less than 147 is an advantage for JMM as compared to it being at 147. It happened that after two years off he had trouble with the weight, so he paid the fine, JMM agreed to it. Only JMM's fans still *****ing now I guess.

When Floyd came back, they offered the fight to Pac/Arum and were turned down. Look it up. Arum said no way would he let Pac fight Floyd at 147.

Floyd/Maidana was at 147. Not sure who said both belts were on the line, but I said if they were it was because Floyd had both at the time. Not sure why that is even being discussed because it is ******.

I have probably forgot more than you will ever know about boxing history.
