It's the overpaying of fighters that causes this problem. Miller getting 7 mil? The guy has done nothing and isn't a draw at all. The knock on effect is other fighters saying "I'm a bigger draw than Miller i want more" even though they don't "deserve" it, Miller didn't either. It's called the live gate my friend. Jarrell Miller just so happens to be from NYC; His hometown. Therefore, it should be a sell out crowd. Moreover, most of the revenue and profits generated from this fight outside of AJ's sponsors are going to come from the gate anyway. Therefore, it will probably do at least $15mil at Madison Square Garden alone. No one expects this bout to sell on Pay Per view; Not even Eddie Hearn.
